It's all quite simple - after my first 5 cups of coffee everything is simple - there is one person who knows the answers to many of our questions re if the brother or anyone else was there that evening. I dunno but does it seem to anyone else that the drinking companion neighbour is sort of like the elephant in the room in this case? Everyone seems to step around her yet we know she WAS there, presumably she's been questioned by LE, presumably she has no reason to lie to cover up for DB. DB apparently isn't giving up vital info about who else, if anyone, was coming and going but the neighbour can say who else, if anyone, including the brother was coming and going. I don't get it.

IIRC, it was reported that she was questioned by LE...they went inside her house...she came out later and was sitting on the steps crying...was called back in...and later left with someone who picked her up in a personal vehicle. Am not clear on whether LE took items out of her home. Just going by what I recall from reading links posted here (somewhere).

This is what makes it all so baffling to me, why these questions are still apparently unresolved. She was questioned by LE and they must have asked her a) if she saw Lisa at any point in the evening and b) did anyone else come to the house while she was there? I'm just flummoxed.

If she was just as "blacked out" as DB claims to be, maybe she doesn't remember much of anything either. I know we're not supposed to sleuth the alleged teen who lived there but I find it odd that he suddenly became invisible. Perhaps it's because he gave DNA (even though I don't know where that story originated or if it is in fact true or not). Also, the husband who was kicked out of the house. Again, no clue if this is true or not. I've seen it posted here a few times.

Still.....I'm left with the why a 10 month old baby girl be taken whether it was someone who knew the family or not. My only thought would be for money. Was she sold? If so, to whom? Was it for illegal adoption, child *advertiser censored* or sexual purposes. :(

Boy, what a mess!!
Okay for a second we believe the kidnapper story, could a friend have come by to see the brother and took the baby, because of a debt?

Who we looking for in this case? A guy, girl, a family with a baby? No information for the public to go by has only hurt Lisa's chances of being found.

This family should be out looking everywhere, plaster their's and the baby's face everywhere, but it's just Not Happening!!

I honestly believe they are told not to search.
Esp by their lawyers. If they found the child everyone would automatically
assume they were guilty. That they knew exactly where the child was even if they were possibly innocent.

I saw a show i think it was on ID Jaycee duggard story they LE suspected the father and the father wanted to search the cops said to him you dont want to be the one to find her...... That man went thru hell.... he was innocent.

I dont think the baby is alive. I dont think she was sold. JMO
I think she died in that home.
I think handyman is maybe friends with bro or deb or both drinking buddies maybe?
I think it will all add up once they piece together the pieces.
They need to interview the kids and the parents .
The parents it seems want to hide something.

O/T iirc he was/is her step dad, he saw the car take her, it was he who described the woman and car. The car was in the back yard that Jaycee grew up in. Jaycee's mom and he divorced, he is the one I felt sorry for.So glad she was found, and so happy for him.

Id like to know how often DEB blacked out?
Black outs happen with alcholics.

She would have said passed out drunk if it was just this one time.
Or is she using the alcohol to avoid ans questions?

yes the mom suspected him and left he went thru hell. I felt sorry for him too.

IMO (and I've thought this from the beginning) is it's impossible to sleuth anything in this case when a) it seems we are exposed to maybe a 10th of the information that's out there and b) we can't even verify what is fact and what is rumor based on media accounts/interviews.

At this point you're almost to the point of throwing darts on the wall and see what theory it lands on and go with that.

i've just read all 14 pages and all i can muster up is WTH???

when i read yesterday the he went with LE i thought "oh good, maybe someone in that family as grew a conscience and is going to stand up for Lisa" well how wrong could i have been.

this is getting more bizarre by the day...

from what i can piece together is:

- PN took DB to the store around 5pm while JI stayed home with the kids
- JI was at home with the kids while they were at the store
- JI left for work around 5.20PM

what i'd like to know at this point was PN still there when JI left for work?

- the neighbor left around 6pm (is that correct?) to purchase her own alcohol which left DB at home with the kids.
- DB says she put lisa down at 6.40pm and checked on her once around 7pm
- at some point PN returns to the house and drinks with DB and the neighbor while the 2 boys and the neighbors daughter are watching a movie
- PN falls asleep and corroborates that DB had drunk enough to pass out
- JI returns home about 3.30am and finds Lisa gone and goes to wake up DB,no mention of PN being in the house at this point? so where is he?

have i got this timeline right? if ive missed things out or got anything wrong...correcting it for me would be appreciated TIA

my brain is a big mush,i don't know how many more changes in events i can handle.:banghead:

Wow - you're right. I forgot all about that. But, I don't think it said it was PN - might have. I remember asking In da Middle if she knew of any all night deli's near the house. Either way - 5AM is an hour after LE had got on scene.

He's basically backing up DB's story and even inserts himself at the house to do it. We just don't know how long he was there or when he left.

Interesting. Anyone know which deli shop and where it is in relation to the house and the 4am sighting of the man with a baby?

Not sure about the terminology but just another data point to add here. Alcohol affects different people in different ways. I am not an alcoholic and these days only occasionally drink a couple of glasses of wine here and there. However, I was once a pretty active "partier" (alcohol only - never other drugs). I used to wonder what was wrong with me because alcohol did seem to affect me differently than my friends. I was never an out-of-control slobbering drunk - I just went straight from having a pleasant buzz to a brief period of memory loss to sound asleep for 3 or 4 hours max. Nearly all of my friends would just get progressively more intoxicated throughout the night, throw up, then pass out and not wake up for many hours. I avoided the getting sick and hangover stages but my biggest issue was that I almost always experienced some periods of memory loss that I hated. I also always woke up really early after drinking and no one to hang out with because my friends couldn't stir for hours.

Just thought I would share my own history to illustrate that it can be tough to draw conclusions about "standard" behavior when it comes to alcohol.

Fun day Monday?

iirc the day before there was a Birthday Party for one of the boys (wonder if that was alcohol free) NOT, so wine on monday was maybe a Calgon take me away day for deb. jmo

I don't, but here is the post about Fox (live on TV, I presume) mentioning a deli sighting:

There is a youtube video of HLN on 11/1/11 which shows a diagram. On the diagram it appears that there is a logical progression from Lisa's house, to the dumpster, to the corner where MT saw someone holding a partially clothed infant, and to the gas station video.

The man walking with the baby at 4 am was about 3 miles from Lisa's home.

From the Nancy Grace Show on 11/01/11 (JVM was substituting for NG):
Reporter: "
I just want to say, Jane, to be very clear that the man that Mike Thompson identified is not Jersey, is not Tanko. And I showed Mike Thompson a photograph of John Tanko, the man known as Jersey and he said no that`s the guy -- not the guy. I`ve never seen him before. I want to sure that nobody takes that implication away that it`s John Tanko that has been identified."
