In Session Judge: “OK, I’ve prepared the following responses: “The exhibits and testimony requested will be provided in open court.’ The second response is: ‘The Court is unclear as to your request for the July police report.’ . . . I’m going to send these two answers back, and then I’m going to let them eat their lunch.” The notes are sent back to the jury room, and the trial is in recess until after the jurors have had their lunch. At that time, we will presumably have readbacks from the testimony of Neil Schori and Harry Smith in open court.

Well I remember Harry got in a great, very damning zinger as Sharkboy tried to badger him. It was something to the effect of "No, she (Stacy) told me Drew MURDERED Kathleen."

:rocker:

This could go either way. Either they are asking for that specific testimony/evidence because they believe it was not an accident, or because they want to prove it was.

It’s hard to know where the jury is going with the questions they have. Have they already decided the death was a homicide and they are just looking for proof that DP was not at home that night OR have they decided it was an accident and are ruling out the hearsay testimony……OR do they not know if it was accident or homicide and are just ruling out evidence to help make their decision. They also could be trying to convince hold out juror/jurors. My guess is that they are trying to find concrete proof that DP was not home and then they can determine he most likely was at the murder scene which makes him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

what about the letter?

They reading that back in open court too?

Woe - My husband thinks he might walk too. And neither of us are happy about that because we live just on the edge of Bolingbrook in another town - but we frequently shop in Bolingbrook and I would HATE to be walking into the grocery store and see Drew there......Gives me the heebie jeebies.

Tulessa I trust your instincts! I remember in the CA debacle you were scared that when the Hawk cried you felt Caylee would not get justice...:(

Oh Mama, hugs hun. Just pray!!:please:

And he might hit on you.

I am much more nervoun than I was yesterday. At least this jury is asking questions and wanting readbacks. IMO, they really are taking their responsibility seriously.

I don't know why, but I am counting on the juror that reads the National Enquiror (but doesn't believe what it says) digging in her heels for guilty.

If there is not a guilty verdict, then I hope there is a hung jury. I don't know that I can possibly take a 'not guilty' verdict in this case.

MOO

Do you guys think Kathleen left enough evidence on her to put DP away for the rest of his life? :please:

Absolutely!!!! Unfortunately, our PopTart jury was not allowed to hear it all! :banghead: (This is my 1st time on verdict watch with you wonderful sleuthers...It's soooo helpful to be part of you instead of feeling so alone!!) Still playing catch up!
