There was a response from the Sheriff posted on ?NG show last night, in which he said she and every other prisoner had access to telephones 16hrs a day.
She could call her friend and that friend posts on Twitter. There is nothing illegal in it so he can't do much about it while she is still on trial....!
TH's on NG show said let her do it, she wants to be an idiot and cause herself more problems, knock yourself out.

That's what I say. It's a great big Who Cares.

AZ Lawyer answered it earlier - she said it was customary and expected for her to review other experts reports in preparing her own testimony.

The same, and no coincidence either. I keep going back to the sink photo, the last time TA was standing. It shows no evidence that he was shot first, the blood would stream on the right side only in a flow pattern, and it doesn't. It shows his hand prints getting up or down from the sink on the right side : (

I followed that case as well. I am so very sorry for the loss of your friend. Here, and in real life, I've referenced Rachel's story often. But I promise in the future I will only refer to her by her maiden name. I am so sorry I hadn't thought of it before. I think for many of us though this case has become extremely personal.

Thank you for sharing her with all of us. I imagine that was horribly painful to write. It's deeply appreciated.

I'm not sure how it works. However as part of the jury selection process they are asked if serving on a trial that is expected to last this long will pose any sort of financial hardship. And if it will they can be excused.

I read that expert reports for the PA are available for the experts for the defense and vice versa. It was said that the reports are available for the expert witness to advice their respective attorney when they cross each others experts. However I always bow to our lawyers.

Good point! Jodi always has been a legend in her own mind. She herself has been the very worst thing that ever happened to HER! Narcissism at its best!

AL's demeanor during her testimony was noticibly more reserved and respectful today than it has been in the past. Add to that the Judge's statement to her at the end of today's testimony that she did not care about her personal problems, the issue at hand took priority, and to be in court on Tuesday. There had to be something significant that happened in Judge's chambers to account for this. I would of loved to be a fly on the wall.

Did she perjure herself for JA, twice?

1) ALV testified JA said to her that the shooting happened in the closet, and then "corrected" this with the help of JW.

2) ALV testified to previous experience as an expert witness in one or two criminal cases. When pressed by JM, she corrects her prior testimony and confirms she has not testified as an expert in a criminal case.

After hearing more of the juror questions, I honestly am curious if reality is finally settling in for her? Doesn't the defense only have one more witness, one being recalled after having already testified?

Honestly, I don't think reality of this trial will ever set in with her. I really don't. She is the perfect mirror of JA, and at this point I have no sorrow for her, at all.

This was the best day of the trial so far IMO -- I had to leave immediately after court concluded, and i haven't been able to read follow up comments or anything, but I just have to say:

WOW WOW WOW WOW

The change in attitude in the defense was palpable. After their last substantive witness, hearing those jury questions, they know it's all over.

When Wilmott got back up to question Alyce, you could see that they were trying to backpedal and say some kinder things about Travis and were obviously concentrating on including men as abuse victims. A noticeably tempered and more moderate approach than all her prior testimony.

How could they not have any clue how Alyce was coming off in her testimony -- until they heard the jury questions? I mean, I just can't believe that they were so ignorant to think that all the Travis bashing and the refusal to say any single thing negative about Jodi would help Jodi in any way.

Willmott was so visibly shaken after hearing those juror questions.
It's beyond weird that neither her or Nurmi had no clue that ALV's "expert testimony" was not going well.

All week they've been sitting there smiling and chit chatting like everything was going their way (and the disturbing whispering/hair petting between JA & Willmott).
But they sure seemed surprised that those jury questions were pretty much all doubtful of everything ALV's been up there spewing for days in end,

Seems obvious that it all sounded like biased bunk, but guess over in fairytale
land they thought things were going just swell.
Amazing. Glad that it sounds like the jury is able to see thru all the dirt that's been thrown out by the defense team.

It is amazing the privileges they have. Kind of sickening.

Jurors should get more $ for their Duty....and Expert Witnesses should get less $ !!

Exactly! The richer the defendant, the higher profile the expert witness. IMO they just sell out to the highest bidder. The fact that two expert witnesses in the exact same profession can have two diametrically opposing viewpoints about the same incident is mind-boggling. Not just talking about Travis and JA but any case, really.
