If Jodi is asked to demonstrate how she jumped up on those shelves to reach for the gun, it could explain why she is now 'losing weight'...just in case that happens..

I thought I saw all of the pics from the trial. I don't recall ever seeing the "jewel" pics.

I am not trying to disrespect TA at all.....but they were in Court. Here is one snippet of it, after much searching again. There are other pics there too:

http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/tabularasa6/media/64_zps6fa226c0.jpg.html?sort=3&o=206

So the DT says (according to JA) that is a picture TA had sent to her of his priviates. Yet there is another pic (see if I can find it) where it shows a bit of a hand in the pic AND the finger nails looks NOTHING like TA Fingernails when compared.

A poll could be done with just the cropping of the fingers in each pic -- to be respect of the family jewels.

It is just that JA said TA sent that to her......her words....when it could be actually Darryl pic sent to her. But nobody knows IF JA is telling the truth there either...........maybe that is what JA is holding over Darryl, and why he did not want his face shown.

The finger nails in a cropped pic of that other family jewels LOOK more like Darryls than TA.......I think JA is throwing another lie out here.

So could a poll be done for WS on that??

No disrespect to TA family, but IMHO the fingernails do NOT look like TA at all!! HONEST

Oh gurl. A few years ago around the rise of YouTube, a friend forwarded an e-mail with a bunch of YouTube-esque links. They were not clear links.

It didn't look like this: callsforjustice.wordpress.com/tag/juan-martinez/

It looked like this but was called "Not your mother's YouTube" or something like that.

It was YouPorn.

:what::what::what::what:

I was just ... and when I tried to reply to the message, I was so flustered that I kept clicking that stupid link. I tried clearing my browser history and clearing the cache and nothing worked. It still kept popping up as a suggestion.

I was never happier when that computer died because I was always worried the Geek Squad would see it and smirk.

That site ... Lord have mercy.

And whenever I think of JA up on the stand I wonder if it was her that made it happen or the DT actually thought she was likeable enough or sounded plausible enough to put her up there.

And then I wonder where we would be today without her testimony. We got quite a bit of contradictory information from it and embellishments.

Do you think when JM realized or was made aware that she was taking the stand he did a little jig? It has to be a Prosecutors dream.

From what I heard talking heads say, with her self defense claim she pretty much had to take the stand.

BBM. I can only speculate, but I would guess it was a consensus decision. What gets me is how badly thought out it was on the part of the lawyers. I can understand JA thinking she could snow everybody, but the lawyers had to know better.

There is a perfect example of how unprepared the DT is, especially compared to JM. When Samuels was on the stand, and they had that argument about what the word "compassion" means, JM was all ready with his Xerox from the dictionary. Samuels could have agreed with JM's definition and that page would never have been needed. But JM was ready, just in case. The DT in this trial would never be that prepared.

My dad was 44 when I was born, and 55 when he died. That's pretty rare, though, and I wouldn't discourage anyone from having a baby for that reason. But just from the energy standpoint, not for me!

My sister pointed out to me recently that when our mom was her age, her granddaughter was 10. My sister's daughter hasn't had any children yet, so my sister will probably be dealing with an infant grandchild at 70.

Obviously I have a lot of children. First one at 22. The reality is that I already have 9 grandchildren and I am not yet 50. Close but not there yet.

The first 3 were born in the same year. They are 7. I love them and all of the grandbabies with every ounce of my being. However, I am tired after 2 hours. I don't have a clue how I managed to be a single mom for so long after the divorce and still worked, kept house and every other thing and still went to band competitions, football games, cheerleading competitions. I tire myself out thinking about it.

My cousin is 45 and just found out she is pregnant, the old fashioned way no less. God Love her, I would have to say I wouldn't be able to do it. I don't even have the patience I used to.

I totally respect anyone who has a baby late in life.

Do you think there's anyone who DOES know what Jodi did that spurred those comments? The evil? The scam? The hurt? To me his words were so telling, and gave him a chance to tell his side in a way.

I'm hoping there are texts or email or IM's that will tell us the 'why' to that angry outburst. We haven't hear everything and there are redacted statements and other statements and evidence that has been ruled too prejudicial. But, learning why or not, you are right - he did have a voice as to how ardently he tried to end the relationship.

Either way, the outburst isn't something I would expect from someone who had something to hide.

That's simply not true. In fact, Jodi's journal was not much help to her.

The majority of the evidence is Jodi and Travis talking back and forth, all day, every day, for months.

Plus interviews with friends, family, former boyfriends, former girlfriends, Travis journals, Travis blogs.

Like she kept saying, she did not need one word from Jodi Arias herself to arrive at her conclusions.

I think because you have never seen what she has seen you might think it doesn't exist. For some reason, the court is not allowing us to see it. But, it exists. That was made clear.

IMO
she testified that she did not conduct one single interview other than with Arias (the one where she apologized to her within the first five minutes of meeting her)

Yes, it wasn't necessarily that JA got on the stand but it was HOW LONG they examined her eliciting testimony. There is no way they didn't understand the chances they were taking.

I wonder if this will fall under the appeals process later.

I am kind of wondering if the hearing Tuesday has something to do with Alyce asking for a break, 20 minutes before lunch, then claiming sick and ending the day.

I would like to know how Wilmott knew Alyce was sick when nothing was said (per the video). You did see Alyce look at her watch numerous times, then Wilmott look towards a wall clock (perhaps) then saying "May we approach". Wilmott may have known all along that Alyce had an appointment to keep.

Maybe later, Alyce was seen out and not sick.

Remember the day she said something to a family member? Then the next day she got called to the judges office. And that meeting went ex-parte. Then she went back to the judge's office ex-parte after court. IMO her attitude on the stand changed a little too. She was a tad bit more subdued except for flashes.

I wonder if in the judge's office while they were meeting about whatever they were meeting about, if she pulled her on stand attitude with the judge. And maybe got slapped with a contempt of court?

When did she end up in the ER in relation to these events?

We spent weeks on that a few months ago. many folks showed the stubby fingernail beds. agreed that it is not Travis. But someone may be able to guide you better than I.

Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2

Good as I did not think they were TA fingernail beds either. I asked my son too for his opinion to......he also said the same thing. They look like they are Darryl fingers and nail beds.

So just wondering via a poll -- what the real % of WS would say "YES or NO" so we can see actual poll results. That would be one big lie if JA is using false evidence to her DT ......shows she is still telling a Story....Mockery of everything from her mouth!!

:furious::furious:

i see it too in those vacant empty beady eyes--- she is diabolical and truly evil as Travis found out much too late

Speaking of those evil, beady eyes....

I wonder if the DT didn't make a huge mistake by putting those hideous glasses on her. They don't make her look like a librarian....or a bookworm....they make her look like the wicked witch of the West. She seems to have some sort of eye problem - she's almost cockeyed. The glasses only serve to enhance that problem. Her eyes are bone-chilling to begin with - but I would never have put her out there for 3 months with those specs.
MOO

Yes, I wondered the same thing earlier but they said in the wake of the overkill (which to me looks like a raging frenzy), the repeated lies and no record of prior abuse or complaints, she had no choice.

I wish she hadn't realized she was in over her head back when she wanted to represent herself. I would have paid to see that.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am still :banghead: from ALV's "No" answer yesterday in response to the question about whether the physical abuse - a brutal murder with gun and knife - that Jodi inflicted on Travis was worse than the verbal (emails, texts, etc.) abuse that Travis inflicted on Jodi. I hope the jury is as :furious: about this as I am and that LaViolette's extreme bias towards the defendant resonates loud and clear with each and every one of them.

Actually I'm glad she said it. It sealed the deal.

I was a single mom myself for quite a few years. Someone asked me once what I did for fun and I said, take a nap. How did we do it?! I look back now and I have no idea. You know the old saying, whatever doesn't kill you makes you crazy. :floorlaugh:

JM to smart to risk this with JA......he doesn't want an OJ glove moment ....

I will grant you your opinion that Arias was abused (though I’m not convinced of that), but I cannot begin to understand how you believe that “abuse” led directly to what happened on the day of the murder (and I can’t imagine why you would testify unless you believe that Arias had to kill Travis that day, since that’s the crux of the defense).

This is such a strong point. She in no way established that any alleged abuse was serious enough to explain what happened to TA. Heck, she is only remotely aware of what even happened June 4th.

Based on my limited knowledge, I would say no. I think it MIGHT be grounds for appeal if Jodi hadn't gotten on the stand. I believe a defendant as a Constitutional right to speak in their own defense. But getting screwed because you took the stand? I think you are just, well, screwed.
