I understand, but I thought the Anthonys were asking the court to waive that statute and let them stay throughout the trial, in the courtroom. Which is not going to happen.

They did ask for that. But only defense can keep them from sitting in the courtroom until they are through testifying. KC does not want them there so it appears they will be kept out probably in a separate room until they have finished their testimonies. jmo

They did. The Anthony's filed a motion asking to be allowed to stay during the trial.

This evening, the Defense filed a motion objecting to it. In essence, they don't want them to be able to be present during the trial.

The motion and info is in the news thread, or go back several pages for additional info.

Watch Cindy's expression when KC says she has been talking to one of the doctors. Cindy then says "we forgive anything that you've said". KC replies with 'I haven't said anything, don't worry' in a very light and breezy manner. There are one or two awkward pauses during this exchange. Knowing that JB spent his own money to have the jail visits transcribed, I am willing to bet that this video and the transcript are going to be one of the first things the defense enters as evidence when/if they start their case in chief.

OK, re-watched and I guess I do have a different take after all this time from when I first saw it. She does say it as a response it seems like after CA says about forgiving anything she has said to doctors. With that in mind and knowing the accusations made about LA and GA I am not convinced it was that or anything else real that ever happened to ICA meant by CA when she made that statement. What I do believe is that Casey has had a pattern of making up stories to shift blame and take the attention off of herself so CA expected ICA to do just that. Letting her know it wasn't an issue, they didn't care. I continued to watch past that and am just astounded after all that we know how she sits there and goes on about the airport sighting, etc. All this info she gave Lee, etc. as if she's being helpful. CA is clearly asking about the apt. of Zanny's to fit her theory that Amy or whoever was watching Caylee at the time was a code knowing it is Ricardo's place. Ah, ha! That must be who ICA is covering for! This is one of the videos being allowed at trial. How can the DT possibly claim an accident she was too afraid to admit? I thought that might be their best chance for getting a lesser conviction. Boy oh boy! Man oh man!

Not only that but that is how the statue reads. The Anthony's are asking the court to change the statute for them.

That Forgiving you statement was addressed on one of the A's Media tours. They Made the statement that they were going to tell ICA that they forgive anything she said, in hopes that she would open up to them. Nothing more to it.

ETA It's on one of the network interviews. Some one may have it handy, but I don't.

Ok, I'll play. Just because of JB not responding to the request to see ICA by the A's lawyer and the motion today filed by defense to keep the A's out of the trial I will hazard a guess that it is coverage of GA and CA with the protesters and media from way back when at their house. The DT dropped the witnesses that GA shoved but it was filmed so...have to have some outrageous explanation for ICA not owning up to an accident and sitting in jail for two and a half years. What say you?

They have a legal right if they are next of kin to the victum to be in the courtroom and that is what the A's are trying to use to keep from being kept out. But, as the defendant, KC has the right to say I don't want them in the courtroom prior to them finishing up their testimonies because it may change their testimonies. Defendant's rights come first and KC is pulling out her wild card and using it. No one is asking to change the statute just that there is another one that gives them the right to be there because the victum was their granddaughter, and which they claim to be her next of kin. Probably as clear as mud because I had to read a couple of threads back to get it. lol jmo
 
I went back and read CA letters to ICA and when I think of how ICA would react to her mother writing and underlining that Caylee was the only "perfect " thing in CA life, and that CA was "the" victim and then crossed it out and wrote "a" victim in all this too, it made me think how much more ICA wants to throw CA under the bus. And why she has not seen any of them, and still does not want to. Yep CA you made her do this will be the DT strategy. imo

Which station did Cindy make the slip of "Caylee not being out in those woods?" DC deposition was taken recently?? Only the murderer would know where Caylee's remains were and since Cindy and George have readily admitted in many interviews that they have not seen or spoken to Casey since October 14th, 2008... they basically are saying that Casey could not have been the one to tell them the location??
