The trash bags that came from the tow yard office were black, the white bag could not be somehow confused with the garbage that came from the tow yard.

Well, partly. No one said anything about them being confused, because black trash bags with red handles look nothing like a white bag with yellow handles; just so we are clear.

What was in the bag that could have attracted blow-fly larvae? Not pizza, because there was no pizza in the bag. Blow fly larvae do not live for a month. Don't you find that odd? What possibly could have been in that bag?

Just to be clear, the tow yard manager pointed out the black bags vs one white one that he expected to find in the dumpster early AM July 17. He said the white bag could not be confused with his garbage. (paraphrased)

The bag was in a trunk that had contained a dead body and products of decomposition were still present. The bag had a paper towel smeared with grave wax.

Not surprised the trunk had flies/larva/maggots, once CFCA abandoned the car at Amscot the trapped flies had no way out until the trunk was opened, when hundreds of flies took their leave.

An exposed, infested body or a body in a warm environment is unlikely to form deposits of adipocere. Isn't Florida pretty hot?

Personally I do not find human error to be odd; it was a white bag with colored tie strings. I'll take your word for it that someone mixed up the exact color, I just can't recall at this moment what color the ties were.
