I'm looking at beauty pageant history because its international and JBR got public exposure doing it. NK wasn't in it originally because they were either behind the iron curtain, or part of the axis of evil. But now here in 2010 they compete in olympics and FIFA so why not Miss World?

Miss World asked them to be there, what was their answer? No. Why not?

Hmm usually if someone were to post a thought 10 times and relate it to a significant event from a crime (the ransom note), leading to a statement "My conclusion is that would've produce a bunch of disaffected leftists, and it seems like the RN was written by a leftist.". Than the next step should naturally be that that leftist is possibly Russian or a Soviet. Since you posted this thought 10 times, per your post.

As for not responding more than you are, no problem by me, and I am getting quite used to your paranoia concerning IDI bashing, while perpetuating your RDI bashing.

Well, you had once mentioned the need of a car rental (expedient escape at low cost)
and equipment (scanners for electronic devices),
postulated within one of your initial theories:
maybe, the 'three IDI with military or socialist motives': one as leader, two that enter the Ramsey home Theory.

Not being well versed with facts regarding Korean tactics or the Supreme Leader policies, ....

Its obvious you're not too familiar with Boulder, CO. or you'd know why a handler or a sleeper cell would already be stationed there.

The whys .... of the necessity of the sleeper cell being prepositioned in BC.

Are there some foreign factions or countries already mentioned on this thread that are interested in missiles?

Who is the US targeting with missiles? Which countries?

ETA perhaps when dabbling in child murders for which a foreign entity has taken credit, 10 minutes with a political map maybe? Or 5 minutes knowing who is still technically at war with whom?

Are you talking about exposure before the murder? Most people had never even heard of child beauty pageants before JBR's murder so I doubt people in North Korea knew the name "JonBenet Ramsey" because of pageants. Even today, the names of the children who win beauty pageants are not well known at all. I know there are reality shows about them now but you can't compare the number of people who are familiar with Snooki vs. the number of people who know the name Eden Wood. I even did a news archives search for JBR in the months and years before her murder and I couldn't find anything.

I certainly had never heard of JB before her murder. She was most likely well-known in the kiddie pageant world, and probably in Boulder. Boulder was a pretty laid-back "hippie" type college town and the Rs were pretty showy, so I would say that most of Boulder knew of them and JB. She won a few local and state pageants, too, so her hometown would be aware of that.
But she did not have the national or global fame that would be needed to make a "statement", especially one that addresses issues with the "country that is served" by her father's company.

I also thought that JonBenet's local "fame" was a bit exaggerated. I'm sure she was known among people at school, in the neighborhood, etc but Boulder has around 95k people. Does that include students? I'm a student in a college town and I cannot tell you about any local residents except the football coach. If you do a search for Boulder real estate, there are 231 properties priced over $1 million dollars so there are plenty of people who were just as wealthy, maybe even more wealthier than the Ramseys.

Also, how much did they even advertise these pageants win? Were they in the newspaper? If JBR won a pageant in Atlanta, would the Boulder Daily Camera mention it? I feel that Boulder would frown on pageants so I can't see there being some big article about her wins, before her murder. Also, wouldn't we have seen the article if it existed? The media would have loved to have found that that they had written about JBR before she was killed.

What newspapers ran stories about her before she was murdered? Boulder, Denver, and does anybody have a source? Newspaper clipping?

I would guess that there might be a mention of any pageant win by a local kid in the society or local news section of the local paper. Plus, people can submit things like that themselves, so it wouldn't surprise me if Patsy did that. When my daughter was dancing (she was a ballerina), the local papers ran a story on her when she danced the role of Clara in a large production of the "Nutcracker". The show wasn't even in our area, and she was only 8, but the dance teacher called the paper and they ran the story. I'd say there probably some local coverage of JB's pageant wins.

I did a newspaper archives search for JonBenet before her murder and I couldn't find anything. I do remember finding an article from 1997 that said something like, "Before her 12/26/96 murder, JonBenet's only mention was in her school newspaper. Afterwards, she was mentioned in X amounts of papers across the country."

I actually said missiles, not nuclear arms. I suggest a google search on missiles and Colorado. But only if you'd like to know why handlers and sleeper cells in Boulder or Denver is real world and not James Bond. More like a spy-fest.
