On Dec 11th when Caylee's remains were found, why did the A's feel the need to have a new attorney waiting for them at the airport.
KC is the one charged, so why did the A's feel the need for an attorney at all.

Well ..... after denying absolutely everything else -- this time they knew it was Caylee's remains immediately and that they needed an attorney, no need to identify the remains after being on tour for Caylee is Alive.

The whole Defense team was premature in hustling down and wanting to take control of the 'crime scene' before anyone was sure exactly who the child was.

Hmmmmm, not a good move. A poker 'tell'?

Anything that doesn't paint their daughter in the best possible light. Anything that doesn't paint themselves in the best possible light. Anything based upon fact and evidence. Anything that contradicts them. Anything that may suggest KC did it. Anything that they can't profit from. Anything that requires consistency, truth, and admission of their role in this "trainewreck". Anything that someone else may use against them. Anything logical, rational, or realistic. So...........in a nutshell...pretty much EVERYTHING. Oh...with the exception of "scripted" soundbites. JMO

Everything is a family 'dark secret'. Everything is CA confidential and proprietary and all public versions are a fairy tale.

I couldn't agree more with the bolded line above. That smell above all else is what the A's don't want to discuss.

I think they feel they have blamed it on the pizza and maggots etc and are going to stay with that story.

I think it may have finally sunk in that this wasn't just going to go away. I honestly think at that moment in time CA wanted to make sure that Casey didn't say anything to incriminate herself...or anyone else for that matter.

Oh, I want to know about the BIG FIGHT that CA says never happened. I want to know if Caylee told Cindy something that was one of Casey's big secrets, like about when her and Mommy slept in RM's bed, and that's what set off the fight and Casey's killing rage.

I am finding conflicting versions of this all over the site but have not actually found a link to any verification yet. Right now I am leaning toward November/December 2004 up until about June 2005, which would be before Caylee was born...for some reason I kept thinking George had left AFTER Caylee was born...will try to run it down some more after the Halloween crunch!(Trick or treating you know...:blushing

Confusion can easily happen when dealing with a case such as this. C&G were still together when KC was pregnant....remember the wedding of Cindy's brother Rick and him commenting on KC's pregnancy? It was very soon after Caylee was born that George left. I've often thought of the bonding issues for George once he came back. IIRC he was gone for 6 to 8 months. Who knows maybe that's the reason he always refers to Caylee as "that baby".

IMO, we're dealing with a family that is so out there, living a life that none of us are even aware of that we'll probably never fully understand some of their behaviors. Because they don't think, rationalize or behave like most of us.

Another thing that they seem to want to avoid discussing is KC high school diploma. They seem to insist that she was missing that ½ credit or something and did not graduate. However, LE investigated this a bit and released some documentation that indicates she probably went to summer school after her senior year and picked up her diploma. So why don’t they admit this?

Me too. George did use the word laundry...while Cindy prefers to say it was clothes. It makes me suspicious as to what else George saw to conclude it was laundry.

I have never read anything that said Kc and Caylee lived with the Grunds for 4-6 months :waitasec:

The very first time Cindy was in court for the bond hearing, she did not want to answer any questions about what her house was worth and how much they owed on it. She actually said in court “I don’t understand what this has to do with my daughter”. Of course LE was asking because they knew the money for the bond would probably come from the parents so the financial situation of Cindy and George was relevant.

One thing that keeps me confused is the regional and family variations on what an object is called, or the way it seems to be referenced... is it a 'laundry bag'.. a 'clothes hamper'...a 'clothes bag'.. 'some clothes'.. 'some laundry'

....an 'oil pan'.. an 'oil drip pan'.. an 'oil drain pan' ...(big difference between a pan under a car engine, and a pan used to collect oil drained from an engine)

Things like .. why do they keep saying 'this little girl' or 'this baby' or somesuch, rather than saying 'The baby', or 'Our little girl, Caylee' or just 'Caylee' .. but perhaps I am being overly snooty about something that is just a common way of speaking in that area.

Then there are the references to different places.. 'went to Jacksonville' .. 'went to Tampa'..'went to Universal'...'went to Widget or Gidget or somewhere'.. which turn out to be streets or areas of Orlando. BUT I am not from the US, not from Florida, know nothing about Orlando, so I don't know that, and have to go find out where exactly a given place might be. Could be a street or could be an area or a different city for all I know.

None of that is fatal of course, but it happens quite often, and leaves me rather wondering how many other things I may have misunderstood without knowing I have misunderstood the matter.

Are you referring to Ryan P, Reseeva? If so, this is who I believe is Caylee's father. I doubt that he knows it but I wish someone would test his dna. He may not be the baby-daddy but I feel he could be.

By the way, RevCrim, this is a great thread and may go on for a long time. Those lyin' folks have told so many big & little ones.

Someone here posted how Caylee is seldom talked about by the A's - I think that is so tragically sad. Poor baby Caylee.
