What will you do when this trial is OVER!?

I kinda feel like we might all feel the loss of Caylee all over again. The business of trial and before that hearings and before that discovery and before that doc dumps has taken so much time for so many people. When a verdict is reached and that energy is no longer needed in this case it may to some feel like a loss or sorrow. Pretty normal feelings actually because you have put your heart into this case and now the job will be done.

Yes we all have laundry, gardening, and some down time coming. But emotionally we will have to gradually adjust to the case now really being finished. :)

I am not a seasoned trial watcher but some just capture my heart. After this one, I am taking a break because I have one to attend in REAL TIME, and I am not looking forward to it. :(

Tulessa.............prayers for strength during this time. Please keep us up to date on the trial. I wonder if we can have a place here on WS to discuss it?

My first big case was back when Usenet was still in action and alt.true-crime was my main reading on cases. Menendez brothers, then Susan Smith, then OJ, then I quit for a few years. I then became involved with JBR and Elizabeth Smart's kidnapping, and of course Scott Peterson's murder of his wife. Danielle Van Dam's case broke my heart for a lot of reasons, and it was there I first "met" Dr. Neal Haskell. I was delighted to see him on the stand again after so many years.

This won't be my last case. This is my first case on WS, and I must say I'm impressed by the dedication of the posters and mods. All cases I follow going forward will be shared with my "crime family" here at WS.

The immediate future after this case will be spent with our soon-to-be-adopted rescue puppy. I'll continue to write my silly articles and do my silly job (which is writing silly articles). I may even manage to give my daughters an honest-to-goodness homemade hot lunch before the end of summer break.

I'm pretty sure I'll be close on the heels of whatever is happening with Drew Peterson. I've tried to avoid the Kyron case for a long time now (hits close to home) but I'm finding myself drawn in bit by bit. If I'm honest with myself, I admit I'll be wholly involved in that one by autumn.

I'll be reading at WS as usual, but will quit watching all the evening talk shows that are following this case. I may not follow any more high profile child cases if they don't quit turning into media circuses that only help the defense. Unfortunately, there'll probably be another case in the next couple of years. I'll probably go back to following the Long Island serial killer case and watching for news on Haleigh, Haylie, and Kyron.

Break out the giant tub-o-popcorm, cause John Morgan (I heart John Morgan) is gonna make JA look mild. Pure, unbridled exposure of what kind of person KC really is.

Oh wow............I forgot about the civil case! That's coming up soon - August I think! That will be one to watch!

I wish I could say I will go back to some kind of normality and NEVER put HLN on again...BUT, I've been hooked on crimes, cases and trials way back since Helter Skelter. Being from California it's all right here in my backyard. During the OJ trial I even went so far as to go to the last restaurant Nicole ate at and then on to her Condo to take pics. While in Colorado it was off to Jon Benet's house. When the Challenger exploded on takeoff I sat in front of the TV for days waiting for them to find the survivors. Sadly, none were ever found...I can't stay away from ANY news..So, here I will sit with my 2 friends..The TV and W/S..and pray nothing of this magnitude (the murder of little Caylee) ever happens again!!

You guys will know every little detail. I will give daily updates as they happen. The trial is in another county over from me, so it might be later in the evening when I post. But I will surely keep you updated.

Last week I caught a late night replay of Paradise Lost about the West Memphis 3. It intrigued me and made me look here for more info, which I was glad to find. As I was about to delve into the case I decided to wait. I want to watch the trial live and not have a preconceived notion of guilt or innocence. So I will be waiting on that one to start and playing juror.

Please go here if you want the real truth: http://wm3hoax.downonthefarm.org/board/index.php (Micheal Moore's father posts here).

The WM3 are not getting new trials, they are getting hearings in December to decide if they should get new trials.

When this trial is over my house will be SO CLEAN, I will be SO RELAXED, and celebrating the conviction of ICA. Yeah.

I can't imagine what an interpretive artist/painter would create using the KC Anthony trial as a their subject.

I was thinking today that we needed an image with Caylee and her beautiful smile with her pros team on one side, with KC and her team on the other side (best to use one of her anger pics) and with CA, GA and LA in the middle, looking lost. And maybe in the background we could have a few "expert witnesses" with their hands out.
