Ugh I have to re-read those interviews again.Something's weird about the gowns and the doll,why would LE insist so much and why would the R's block the questions about it.

Maybe he means that the gown belongs to the doll and the doll was stripped naked.And that would be creepy indeed.Was the doll naked when they found it.Cause otherwise why would you call the find perverted? :waitasec:

Maybe they tried to redress JB with the doll's gown and it didn't fit.Maybe BR knew that she went to bed wearing hers,so they needed one that looked the same.But it didn't fit OR had blood on it as well. (depends on how tall the doll was,dunno)

I do not know a lot about Barbie Dolls, someone mentioned the height in a post somewhere.
I reckon the dolls and Barbie Nightgown play a role, whereas before people were suggesting the nightgown arrived accidentally.
LE redacted the existence of the doll from the evidence sheet, so LE are looking for someone to indentify the doll, since they must reckon it is out of place? e.g. if it was a gift then Patsy could just say I purchased that at Bloomingdales etc. The doll might even have forensic evidence on it.
The R's want to change the subject since Patsy knows the doll and nightgown refer to a staging prior to the kidnap scenario enacted in the basement.

I read it as one says yes to a life size doll exists and the other that the barbie nightgown is JonBenet's. Patently the doll in the wine-cellar is not the lifesized one.
I guess on the doll or off it would still be JonBenet's. John might be prevaricating, offering misleading evidence?

I read it as JR says that gown looks like the doll's and PR says it looks like JB's gown.Dunno.
And yes I agree,if they found a doll down there it probably wasn't the life-sized one.

Whatever the pink thing shown in this photo is, it is way too big to be JonBenet's Barbie nightgown. Does anyone see this? This object is about 1/4 the size of the blanket and JB's gown would not have been that big.
ETA: well, maybe not 1/4 the size of the blanket, but still too big to be her nightgown.

Madeleine, I think this statement by Patsy is misleading. It could mean either it was JonBenet's nightgown with Barbie on it or it was the life size Barbie's nightgown. Does that make sense? I kinda think Patsy and John were both saying it was the doll's nightgown and not JonBenet's.
