My greatest disappointment would be if this case is still in the news years from now like the Jon Benet Ramsey case. ENough already!!!!! It's over, it's done. Let that child rest in peace, and Caylee also. JMO

I'm just one person in a sea of watchers who holds up her hand and says - nah - i don't believe this jet setting around stories at all - More like Mr. Malcuso is flying charters to make a few bucks on the side and enjoying the attention he's getting - plus customers - because of the FKC infamy.

I think she's probably holed up in some backwater place in Florida, watching all this stuff unfold and being furious that she isn't "wiped clean" and able to start living her life again but with megabucks in her back pocket instead of somebody else's cheque book.

For me the real question is "where is Baez"? Here's a guy who for a good two and a half years could not be kept away from a camera - he took every opportunity to blah and blah - here there and everywhere. He had something to say about everything. Now? I don't see him celebrating his win - strutting around like Mr. Big!

Sure, supposively he swanned around New York for a couple of days, looking for offers which by all accounts have not appeared. And yes, he was apparently on Babs Walters show - and I'll bet the multitudes emailed her with their thoughts, plus one today show, plus telemondo the other day.

So what exactly is going on here? Has he had death threats? Does he have something serious coming down the pike from the Bar or the JAC? So what's up Jose? It's been more than a month!

C'mon Baez - you can tell us....what's troubling you? Why so quiet? Just let go and tell all. Promise we won't laugh.....:innocent:

Could these "sanctions" that JP threatened against JB during the trial be "in the works" ? :laugh: I sure hope so !

Also, I believe that JB is having a real difficult time "handling" CFCA ... and I would NOT be surprised if CFCA has "threatened" him because her "million dollar deals" have not come either ... :laugh:

And now with CFCA having to do her probation in OC ... Jose has his "hands full" ... :laugh:

Yes friends, IMO there is definitely trouble in paradise. Trouble for Baez; legal, marital, and financial (not to mention having one heck of a pickle on his hands having to house, support, FCA). This is the beginning of the end of this whole thing. Doesn't matter where she goes for probation, she has to do it, the appeal will fall flat, she already plead guilty to the charge, the JP made darn well sure he was right on this one and it has bigger ramifications for the state of Florida. As for moving her, it really is a moot point if it does fly, the DT said themselves "she is the most hated woman in AMERICA", not just Orlando... Buckle up folks and watch karma unwind its sticky coils...

So Baez again sez he's gonna appeal the probation ruling - colour me not surprised - and some say he will get a stay and some say no.

I'm gonna be curious to see on what grounds he's appealing, since HHJP provided a bagful of precedents to base his decision on - one specifically a Supreme court decision.

Wherever he's got her stashed, I'm kind of wondering if someone - like Geraldo - advanced Baez some cash to keep FKC out of sight until the "big deal" rolls in - and if that's why he's insisting on stalling on a probation issue that looks like he won't win. The clock isn't ticking - her probation starts on the day she actually shows up and registers at the probation office.

Or is something else going on? Is he having trouble handling her? Wherever she is I don't believe he is giving her free rein - it's got to be someplace he has her in some kind of an informal lockdown, or else I think her ego would drive her out into the open - to be seen and heard.

So while I don't want big crowds heralding her arrival back in Orange County because I think that is exactly what SHE wants, I am curious to know what exactly is going on. The DT and Baez are acting in a peculiar fashion based on their past history. In the past, when things were not good, or there was "trouble" - we got these kinds of terse comments from JB, that we have been getting from him the last couple of weeks.

What I think would be hilarious is if FKC just "took off" and JB has no idea where she is and is searching for her. Now that would suit me just fine!

I gotta agree with you and I was just thinking that myself this morning - there is something going on that isn't causing a DT "happy dance".

One thing I know for certain - JB isn't looking after FKC out of the goodness of his heart, he would only be doing it for $$$ - so he remains attached to her for something......

You are too funny! So why would JB want to hold off the probation reporting until well after this hearing? So either he has made money from something he's done with FKC or he hasn't and is waiting for it or....maybe he has some kind of show or outing planned for her that can't be accomplished if she is confined to OC?
Darn it - there is something hinky going on and I want to know what it is! If JB is involved, it's got to be somehow underhanded and devious. He doesn't know any other way of "being".

well, I seem to have devoloped quite the taste for crow during this trial, but I'd be willing to bet a paycheck she's not filming any reality show. In fact, my guess is that there may be an interview or a book and both will flop miserably - just like OJ's did. Let's face it, she's no washed up, drugged out trainwreck we all "sort of like", she's likely one of the most hated people in American history. I remember that time during Jury Selection when JB told her to "quit acting like a 2 year old" ... Awwww ... I bet Miz Anthony did NOT like that ... and thank goodness the cameras picked it up !

I remember reading somewhere that JB had NOT visited CFCA in jail for a while, like was it a year or two ? I mean WHY would your attorney NOT visit you regularly in the slammer, considering how "big" and the "coverage" this case was receiving ?
(Please correct me here ... I do not remember the exact time-frame ... TIA.)

And when CFCA was "released" from jail ... I "expected him to walk "arm-in-arm" :floorlaugh: like Mason stated he would :floorlaugh: ... or at least be "coddling" her like he did sooooooooo much early in the case ... to me, it looked like he just wanted to "high-tail" it out of there and "get it over with" ...

MOO ... no matter where CFCA is or what she is doing, Jose Baez is getting a good dose of the REAL Casey Anthony ... And deservingly so !
