I have three beautiful granddaughters who along with their mom live with me. There is no way that my daughter could take my granddaughters and me not say anything about it for over a month!!! My babies and I say our prayers every night where ever we are if we are not together we do it on the phone there is no way i would go for a month with out talking to them and my daughter would produce them long before a month!!
Who believes that Cindy should be prosecuted for perjury? Or is it just me...?

While I would love for someone in this family to get charged with something, I am just grateful that I don't have to see CA flapping her jaws on a daily basis.
At the least, this family is a bunch of opportunistic and disrespectful leetches. Pond scum!!!
If it was an accident that got out of control, who decided...I can't even go there. Why did they all decide to protect KC? I just wish they could prove CA committed perjury,
without proof they can't do anything.

So why should she not be charged?
a. Because she's a grieving mother/grandmother? Nope, don't think this would work too well because almost 50% of the world are mothers and grandmothers. If this is the reason, I'd say our justice system is creating a pretty large vortex for witnesses to fall through.

b. It would cost too much money to charge and prosecute every perjurer so why set a precedent with Cindy Anthony? Again, nope. This case had national, even international, attention and would have been a perfect time to set the standard! Charge this blasphemer and send a good warning shot to those who might have been tempted to follow in her steps. It would have saved money on future cases as well as upholding the moral values of the court.
IMO, Cindy not only committed perjury but flirted with obstructing the investigation. I believe that, had Cindy been honest and told the truth on the stand, the shallow and irresponsible P12 may have voted differently. I hold Cindy as responsible for the gross abuse of justice in this case as the immoral defense and indolent jury.
Yep, I think the book should have been thrown at her.

Besides, for how many years is the grieving grandmother excuse good for? Will she be in grief mode the rest of her life?? If so, how is she able to work?

WERK!!! She's been on disability for years. Why werk when she has picture/video money, donations from the public, Dr Phil donations, and disability?
Normal parents and grandparents grief their deceased children forever. Trust me. It's just that the grieving isn't obvious to everyone after a time.
Sorry, I don't understand where you came up with the idea that the Grandma found the baby dead in the pool.... I don't recall the defense mentioning Cindy in the fake drowning scenario.

I get what you're saying, (I lost my mother almost 6 years ago), but the point is she is functioning in society, she's not under psychiatric care, and you don't continue to grieve 24/7. I think it's past the time she can still use the grieving grandmother card to not be charged with perjury, IMO.:twocents:

Unless there is inside information on this? For all I'm angry with CA for, I would never judge or pretend to know her mental condition at any time during this whole debacle, including through today. And who knows, she may actually be trying to get help? wishful thinking maybe, but I really hope she is seeing a psychiatrist and a therapist and is seeking professional help. Not holding my breath, but ........
Whether or not she can work, if she is on disability, would be up to her doctors, and if she is on disability for mental health reasons, you do have to have that diagnosis from a Psychiatrist or Medical Doctor, not just a therapist. And you have to be current in your treatment to stay on the disability.
Now, I'm the first one to be harsh on CA for many of her actions, what she knew, when she knew it, etc., but I can only speculate on why she did what she did, but I couldn't begin to say for a fact what her real mental condition is or was at any time.

From what Cindy's mother Shirley said about her and her dysfunctional behavior, her covering up for Casey has been going on for years. She just continued to a larger degree throughout this saga. That is normal for her.
Lots of people struggle with mental illness and still manage to function in the working world - from what I have seen of Cindy's behavior ,particularly selling their story to Dr Phil for what is said to be $600K I would say that her manipulating the disability system is par for the course. She appears to function independently, is well groomed, has appropriate affect and certainly gives the appearance of normality - no reason she could not work and keep her troubles to herself . Millions do.
From what I know of her though, to me it was a given that this woman was never going to work again and in the words of her own daughter was "going to milk the system"..
I watched her lie for three years. I watched her lie under oath. I have NO doubt that she would lie to a Psychiatrist.
Yeah, like others before her, Cindy seems to feel that since she has been put through so much, the world owes her something now. George hasn't seemed interested in working since he lost that job at his father's car dealership.
But I can honestly say that I would never hire someone like Cindy after seeing her behavior in those deposition videos. Both she and George have some entitlement issues that they have passed down to that criminal daughter of theirs.
They have both felt entitled to a much better life than they could afford,before anything happened to Caylee- as evidenced by their chronically high credit card debt (do you wonder how Casey got into that habit?) years of financial problems, in and out of work - then GA with his alleged online escort girl/ gambling scam problems, so it's just the way they are. Arrogant.

Very true. I think George and Cindy could have led a pretty good life if they both would have worked and got rid of that daughter of theirs. Casey was bleeding them dry, as was George. Being a RN, Cindy had to make pretty good money. It's too bad she was pretty much carrying that whole family with the exception of Lee ..as far as we know.
But, it's hard to feel sorry for her when she refused to do something about that thief Casey and her husband who wouldn't hold a steady job.
Now both Cindy and George want to make money for doing absolutely nothing, and thanks to a bunch of networks and dumb shows, they have managed to do it.
Casey .she will live off of someone's generosity or naiveté for the rest of her life. She will bleed one person after another dry and then move on.
One of my wishes in this life is for her to screw up again and get a very long prison sentence because behind bars is the only place she deserves to be.
Well, there is one other place but I don't know if I can say that here.

I honestly don't think Gentiva or any Hospital or Home Health Agency would ever hire Cindy to work as a nurse again. She ought to have her nursing license revoked. She flat-out lied, she used poor judgment, couldn't detect a 7 mo. pregnant female and get her prenatal care, and would you trust a nurse who (aside from her own psych issues) mistook Chloroform for Chlorophyll???

Cindy may have told a small lie that did not impact the trial one way or another. I have to thank Cindy for spending countless hours tracking down her daughter to find her granddaughter and then calling the police wanting her arrested for stealing her car and money. If it wasn't for Cindy Caylee may have never been found. Casey was arrested because of Cindy and the Anthony s did nothing to get her out. It was Leonard P bright idea to get her out and when he realize that Casey did not want to find Caylee they put her back. I think the Cindy and George should be left alone they have endured more in a year than most people do in a lifetime.

I must disagree that, IMO, Cindy's lies were not small, were many and had a huge impact on this shallow, lazy jury. IMO, the few credits given in this post for Cindy's actions is that they were all too little and too late! Not only do I find many of her actions suspicious but I question her motives as well.
