I agree, Manorville is different. I'm generally referring to GB4 and their associates, AC4, Daytona Beach, Wilmington, NC, Philadelphia and possibly West Mesa.

I'm just going to make a little list and ask you to consider the forest as opposed to the trees:
LLCs
Motels (used for escorts, prostitution, etc.) owned by people connected to the LLCs
Connected to businesses
Connected to Real estate investments
Connected to the construction of said projects
Straw deals using the bottom of the ladder folks for names to put on the the deeds or to live at the properties and to use those addresses to associate with other businesses that are...

Connected to:
Florida (specifically Central Florida)
LI
NYC
The Wilmington area of NC (The East Coast Hollywood)

Connected to:
Dance Clubs, DJs, Club Girls, Strip Clubs, Escort Services

Connected to:
The Pimps, the Victims, the drivers, the body guards, the residents in the properties owned by someone connected to the managers within these LLC and their clients.

AND FINALLY to lots of people (not the business owners or partners) who get arrested and or wind up dead either by obvious murder or suggested suicides.

Of course right on the fringes of all of this are the crooked public officials and the well known sophisticates and their celebrity friends.

ITA with Hawk....there is no serial killer per se. There are simply common dumping grounds for those who have somehow fallen out of favor with the organizations they managed to get entangled with.

The big wigs that wind up dead "seem to" commit suicides and the people that are used at the bottom of the ladder either end up in jail or murdered. JMHO, of course.

Not even one organization, necessarily, but simply "business as usual," perhaps.

And, J Ruis owner/operator of World Class Party Girls (Shannan Gilbert's former employer) was laundering more than $3 million a year and not one of the clients/customers of the business was named because they "weren't in the public eye"... yeahhhhh, right.

And, Ruis had no business partners??!! Yeahhhh right.

Ruis went to prison for what amounted to about 3 months.

SG scheduled to testify but the next thing we know she's missing and then... she's dead.

Politicians/LE/creeps all snuggled in their LLC dirty beds together.

West Mesa is still up in the air--Many believe Montoya was the main sk, possibly working with Reynolds--very likely on a team effort, but questions remain (at least for me)--the dump site only had bodies from 2003 through 2005, nothing prior to 2003 or from 2006--has to be another dump site--Montoya lived to close to that dump site for it to be his alone, possibly he shared it--then there is that Joplin photographer--yikes--but he was verified to be in joplin during 2004 when some of the girls went missing

I can't help thinking that West Mesa has something to do with Epstein, the Investment mogul (who never went to business school) who avoided serious repercussions re: underage girls that he stocked his mansion with and the older females who have recounted some very creepy stories about the once golden boy of Wall Street. I have wondered if any of those women found buried inWest Mesa may have worked at the Epstein Mansion.

Agree 100% that some of the vicitms remains were left there because it is a very convenient and easy place to discard a body on a road with a 55mph speed limit (and you can go 100+ there with a sports car or motorcycle and rarely get caught. It's a straight run to nassau County with the ability to take a quick turn to long Beach and then the rockaway and Brooklyn if needed).

YES, and a lot depends on how you define a serial killer. I pretty much always leaned to what you seem to be suggesting.

I think the 4 are from one serial killer. If a group of men with money were killing girls, mob or big business, they could fly a body over the ocean and drop or would bury them deep. They would not want the bodies found and connected to them. A serial killer enjoys keeping his victims above earth and more visible.

With two of the dead girls having been told to leave their phones at home and they did it, I had thought of the possibility that they thought they were meeting a cop, someone in a trust position. I had figured he didn't have to BE a cop, just say he was one to get them to leave their phones behind and trust them.

It is my opinion the gb4 were not meant to be found and placed by a local or former lOcal due to the knowledge that they were less likely to be found being placed between hemlock cove and the old coast guard station. Jmho

I'm late to the thread, but not everyone knows that parts of Hemlock Cove are known as Garbage Cove for all the trash that comes in with the tide and stays. This would dissuade anyone from approaching the burial area from the water by accident.

In Nevada when it was intended for a body to never be found they would simply dig a hole in the desert. Knowing how deserted that stretch of Ocean Parkway can be and how loose the sand is on the South side of the road, why not dig a hole in the sand at the base of the dunes?

Or better yet, why not use a small boat or skiff to take the bodies over to any of the dozens of deserted islands along the State Channel and around the bay?

Whoever the killer was, he wanted to be able to go back and admire his handiwork now and then, one of the behavioral habits of a serial killer. Look at Ridgway in SeaTac, he did the same thing. They were "buried" enough to be out of sight unless you were looking for them. Burying a body in the sand is risky, a good storm can wash dunes right into the ocean. I've seen things exposed that have been buried for decades, cars, trucks, concrete and even a WWII tank.

The area right off the OP is a hard dig with all the vegetation there and you'd have to dig fast (alone?) or have pre-dug a plot.

To get into a boat right off the OP is difficult unless you find a sandy spot, I don't believe there are any in the area. There may be some old docks but they're in bad shape. I haven't been on a boat in the area in many years and things change on the water. You'd need at least 2 people or take the long way around from the ocean side to get to one of the islands.

Were the undeveloped islands even looked at? The biggest is Grass Island aka Thatch Island and it was known for wild parties that went on there.

The only person likely to have benefited from killing was a serial killer who enjoyed torturing and killing prostitutes for whatever reasons he had in his sick twisted mind. How much money would they have had on them and why not just rob them? Who would they complain to? However if he was supplying girls for snuff films or parties where the girls were tortured or killed and then disposed of, he probably could have made quite a bit of money. Am I making sense?

The theory of snuff films comes up now and then. Even un-filmed they have an appeal to a certain demographic. Look at the Oak Beach community as an example. People with money and free time on their hands. They choose isolation for a variety of reasons. I've looked at houses on OB and Gilgo but never bought one. I like the beauty and quiet of the area. Others may like the fact that they can do almost anything and get away with it.

Great work, guys. You're really covering all your bases. However, I'm not sure this Ruiz guy quite fits into this whole thing. I think somewhere on or near Long Island there's a killer. He may be on hiatus, but he's not done yet. He used technology to meet girls that most people wouldn't care about should they go missing. He didn't recreate the wheel by choosing prostitutes as his targets. He's feeling the heat that the media has created, but I think he knows that LE doesn't have any serious leads pointing in his direction. I just think the calls to the sister of Melissa Barthelemy are definitive "proof" (if you can use such a word here) that it's one sick individual who is responsible for the GB4 and possibly others. As always, just my opinion.

Could the sick phone calls be smoke screen?

Do you think it's possible all these people are being murdered for organ harvest? I have wondered about this motive too but not at the top of my list.
