There have always been people wiling to sacrifice themselves, their freedom or their lives simply because they could not and would not do ANYTHING. This is a lie that you are telling yourself.
Saying that anyone is capable of anything makes anyone a suspect, I guess. I mean, it doesnt allow us to differentiate or describe any sort of group at all, really. Its a meaningless descriptor. If you want to say that ______ was capable of committing this crime, then you have to show that they were capable of committing this crime. Saying they were capable because ANYONE is capable doesnt cut it because we wouldnt be talking about ANYONE, we would be talking about ______.
