I couldn't locate any until now but I'll continue to look into it.

edit:
Only mention I could find so far in an article from 1990.

Wow. Only one sentence in that article mentions Janet, and refers to her as Janet c. Robinson, and lists missing date as 1986. Well, I’m going to throw a curve ball because as of 1987, she was writing to the newspaper.

This address matches the writer’s , and like the missing poster, is Janet m. Also again with 1987 missing date.

Can you speak more about how you made the connection between the letter writer and the missing person?

How do you know the correct middle initial is M rather than C, as reported in the article? (Always looking to improve my research skills!)

The Namus record has M, presumably that's correct as it came from family. C was used in the second article which had barely any information about it, not even the circumstances, and nowhere else. I looked for Janet Robinsons in Aushwaubegon and only her husband showed up (although he no longer lives there, he moved to a place I found on his facebook) Figuring out the husband via records, marriage, etc. I found him divorcing a "Janet M. Robinson." It included a maiden name and said she was "of Texas." Gonna leave it at that until I hear back from the sheriff because trust me, this is a mindblowing story, and I don't want to be scooped! LOL
