Maybe they played Fortnite together? He stalked her?

Also... she wasn't found. She saved herself. Raise your girls to be strong fighters! She gets the credit for this. There were no tips leading to her.
1000x this. The presser was uncomfortable to sit through. I've no doubt LE worked tirelessly, etc, etc, but this girl saved herself.

No, this isn't "venom" aimed at LE, but they could have ratcheted the self congratulations down a notch, in this case.

It’s early but I agree, he seems like a classic incel. I wish the government would say what a threat there is from extremists in this country, but they sure like to keep it buttoned up. Same kind of guys who join Isis, just a different ideology and not considered a threat.

The Government tried back when Obama was President, but certain people in this country threw their usual hissy fit and the studies and reports were put to bed.

Wow this thread is moving fast I dont know how you guys keep up! :D
Very interested to see what is to come at 4pm. Quite the story, I hope she gets all the support she needs and her family as well. They're in for alot of inquisitive invasive questions from fairweather friends.

Not sure if anyone here has been on the Incel thread over on reddit but it is scary and sad. There's death threats and often a lot of talk of ways to commit suicide, harm themselves. Not sure why Reddit still allows the sub. Don't care who I offend, I think men are the enemy in this day and age.

For those who are criticizing law enforcement's comments at the press conference, unless you have been in their shoes please don't. In this day and age, LE is criticized harshly for basically doing their job. And rarely do they receive acknowledgement for the incredible sacrifices they make. It is appropriate for them to acknowledge and support each other, and IMO that is what they were doing at the PC. Not as a "Hey, we're great, and we solved this case on our own" kind of thing, but as a demonstration of respect and acknowledgement to each other for the tremendous efforts they have all put forth for Jayme. The Thin Blue Line brotherhood understands the toll a case like this takes on an LEO, and IMO they are simply acknowledging the endless hours, sleepless nights, unbelievably high frustration, and frankly, totally unexpected glorious outcome. The fact that they did this does not take away from anyone else. It does not change or diminish the fact that Jayme was her own hero. LE sees an inordinate amount of tragedy, heartbreak, and darkness throughout their careers. No one requests LE because they are having a good day. Allow them this brief time of light. And please remember that while Jayme's case has come to the conclusion that everyone has been hoping and praying for, all of these LE professionals are likely currently working on multiple cases that will not. If they read these threads, and some of them probably do, your words serve no purpose but to hurt and discourage. They need and deserve our support and encouragement. Please.

I can't speak for anyone else but two of my very good friends are in law enforcement. Both of them were in my wedding. We can criticize law enforcement for how they handled aspects of the press conference and still be very, very supportive of their efforts and law enforcement in general. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Hi a newbie here and following Jayme's case. Celebrating here from the Philippines!!!
Praise the Lord!!! Welcome home Jayme!
its 1:20 AM here now.

A warm welcome to Websleuths. Thank you for caring about Jayme and for joining us.

I've been reading this thread since the beginning, but haven't posted before or visited recently as nothing new has come about in the case. When Kare11 broke the news last night I got chills. This is unbelievably great news, and I never thought this would be the outcome.

Welcome to Websleuths shelbsmom1. Thank you for caring about Jayme and for joining us.

Somehow down the line, they were taught that they were entitled to anything. I think it might be a generational or parenting thing more than a gender/sex thing.

(I’m going to admit I’m part of this angry mob mentality. Just sayin. Of course I will respect the rules here. I can’t believe someone could do something like this, the selfishness and evil of this, just, unfathomable.

I think what hurts me most about all of this is that he killed her parents.

Again I’m too emotional to speak or post clearly.)

I keep thinking of that 80’s movie ‘Without a trace’......When they found the kid, there was a huge police escort to get him back home that grew each jurisdiction. Gave me chills of joy... I know Jayme wasn’t far... But I still would like to be in that escort.

They aren't criticized for "doing their job", if and when they are criticized, it's because they are doing their job in a bad manner. There are lots of problems in this country because LE aren't doing their jobs in the correct manner and people just put them on a pedestal and don't take a critical eye at how they do their jobs. Certainly not all of them, and not all the time. But blind admiration just because they are LE helps nothing or no one.
