Does pommy / mommy know what Patrick Patterson job was.... again not blaming parents...

He has 2 homes/ 3 kids/ 4 cars...I’m not calling him rich but between taxes / electric/ licenses... etc. that’s not exactly cheap..

Construction or trucking would make sense early to leave ... late to get home... but both those usually have weekends or time off ...

Lemme know pommy mommy..
If it has been mentioned, I don't remember. If I get time, I will look but no promises, lol. :p
if that's the timeline, that's huge as far as a trigger. has the sister made a statement about JP and this crime?
I haven't seen anything from the sister.

I would never consider RadarOnline an accurate news outlet. Just sayin'.
They're sensationalistic that's for sure but you know what? Early on, they reported that DC barricaded herself in the bathroom and that was correct. Since they "pay for juicy info", sometimes they do get information that nobody else is privy to. But I hear what you're sayin...
MOO

HAHAHA! Sooo... RadarOnline reports that he religiously followed... RadarOnline!

* facepalm *
I can barely read this because it has a huge gold ring in the middle of the article. Not sure what to believe. Why would he google "Patterson" when he knew they didn't even know his name? What would he expect to find? Who do they say is their source?
I wonder if he was reading Websleuths.

I do think she knew people were looking for her. She told her rescuers that she was Jayme. Jayme Closs.

Big deal. Who would know that name? No one unless she knew it was all over the news.
I read that she told her first rescuer that she didn't know she was being looked for. I'm sure it was JN but I don't remember which interview it was.

the critical question is:
is the road a busy one?
if not, definitely should've stopped him as it was ''near'' the crime area

They were going to a residence where there was some sort of trouble. If they take the time to stop random cars, the situation at their destination might get worse—might get much worse. Visualize the police letting someone bleed to death because they’ve stopped and questioned some random law-abiding citizen.

Since it sounds like he didn't live in Gordon for a few years and then showed back up at the cabin after he was 18, I sort of wonder if JP lied to the neighbor lady and said his parents had "abandoned" him and he had been living in foster care with his brother? It would be the perfect lie to tell to try to get sympathy from a neighbor asking why he was back living there without his parents.I see JP as the type who would always make himself out to be a victim even when it is not true. JMO.

My other theory is that his dad was supposed to be taking care of the boys but something happened that made foster care investigate and take the boys away for a time. It could be something one of the boys did that is now sealed as a juvenile record/CPS report or it could be something the father did that lead to the boys being taken away (I won't speculate on the father as that would be against TOS).
I like your first idea. If he was bouncing around from home to home with his mother it would be easy for the neighbor lady to believe a story like that. And, he lies so...yes, very possible.

Yes. And, if he left the radio on when he left or had company over, she was hearing news breaks which certainly covered her story (one hour away).

Had a creep thought and wondered if after watching TV, reading social media (which said NO clues) if JP started boasting in front of Jayme how clever he was? Imagine?

Hm. Do you have a link? I don’t think that is accurate

If he lied about it, the car seat his hiney occupied and the trunk where he put Jayme will tell what was true. I'll say that car will have all kinds of evidence. JMO

I kind of think he may have told a lot of the truth, but not all of it. What he did tell does measure up with what Jayme reported, (except for hitting her), and the evidence at the Closs home, but there has to be more, right?

I find it pathetic that in a class of, what'd they say 32? that his teachers barely remember him.
Nobody wants to risk s lawsuit by remembering something hurtful. I wouldn't doubt they were told to have vague recollections. I'm sure administrators forewarned them of an onslaught of questions.

If JP had gotten a job what was his plan for Jayme? Did he have himself convinced she wouldn't try to leave? I know he left her in the past but somehow this seems different. Especially if he wanted a full-time job.
ETA was he starting to believe things were going to be happily ever after?
If for some reason he was collecting or wanting to apply for unemployment benefits, I believe you have to prove that you are trying to find employment by sending in copies of job application you've filled out. IMO, for whatever reason he didn't intend to actually get a job.

Once again this is my last post for the night.. I am very very sorry that I made a post that you guys did not like. I will work harder in the future to study my post, and make sure everyone will approve before I post it.

You can post whatever you want. Everyone doesn't have to like your posts but when you repeatedly post about the things a mother/murder victim did wrong and how you would have done this or that instead to survive, then you are probably going to get some people who don't agree with you.

He did not have enough time at a job to collect unemployment

Might be a dog gate but IDK about barricading someone IN a basement because of exits in case of fire. They would have 1 exit but if it was large enough to live in, then it likely would need 2 entrances/ exits ( one being stairs) to meet basic fire codes.

If there's a bedroom in a basement you have to have an egress window. Looks like those back windows are big enough though.

As a teacher myself, my guess would be that rather than not remember him, they prefer to not be quoted in the press speaking candidly, or at all, about him. So the best they can say is that they don’t quite recall...
