When the cops arrested her, there was no sign of Kayden. So where did she drop him off? She had an accomplice imo

From earlier reports, she did have some of Kayden's baby clothes in her car. I forget the excuse she used as to why she had the clothes.

IF she did have an accomplice, they would have had to have planned to meet at that specific location in Iowa. They need to check all nearby hotels for video as well as the gas station video.

I'd also like to know more about this area. Were these gas stations off a heavily traveled highway? Were they open 24 hours? Where was the duffle bag located? In plain view? Behind a building? Behind a dumpster?

I do HOPE that she had an accomplice because I cannot imagine a baby that small being left outside in those conditions.

So glad he's been found! I just don't understand this. Are we sure that the duffel bag was outside? There is no way that tiny baby could survive for 24 hours in a duffle bag outside. I don't think an adult could survive that. I also don't think that a 6 pound baby would be in "good condition" after not eating for 24 hours. That's a very long time for someone so tiny! When he started to get hungry he would be crying. A lot No one heard this? I really want to hear more about exactly where he was found. If the sister has been in custody for 24 hours I worry that someone set this up to look like it was her.

At the presser a reported directly asked if the bag was found outside or inside. It was found outside, but the exact location wasn't given.

When KS was arrested yesterday, no one at BP thought "oh that chick was just at this gas station 10 minutes ago w/a bag"? Kayden didn't cry the first 24 hours he was missing? He survived a night out in the cold without food?

Infants aren't able to regulate their body temperature as an adult would, doesn't shiver to keep warm, etc.

Does anyone have the link? Kind of odd, was BM with KS when she got these things? OR did KS go to BM's mothers house by herself to get these belongings?

Brianna mentioned Colorado on her twitter back in September. KS' husband seems connected to Denver, and papers say she lived in Denver. But the nearest Army Base is in Colorado Springs, an hour and a half away. Not sure if maybe she left the service, or if one/both commute.

She stated back in mid-2012 that she was in the Army, had just been promoted, and next step was commissioned officer. Her husband is former Navy.

The only thing military related that I know of near Kayden's area is RTC Great Lakes and A-school.

Still digging, don't want to bring her husband into this as he's not mentioned anywhere in the media.

I wonder what made BM believe KS was/is her step sister? I'm curious about how and when they met.

I mean, if someone came to me out of the blue and said I'm your step sister, I'd have lots of questions for my family members and I would ask more than one trying to find information. Especially knowing some family members might be more forthcoming with the truth than others.

I agree w/others that this tiny infant could not have been outside in a duffel bag all night with no heat nor food, and been alive and well this morning. I do not understand that part.

So what I don't understand is why KS bothered with being chummy with the family and spending a few days with them before abducting Kayden. Why not sneak in during the night and steal him? The family wouldn't have known she was in the area.

Assuming she intended to raise Kayden as her own, how did she plan to explain his existence to her husband?

He couldn't possibly have been in that duffel bag outside for very long at all, even bundled up. It was -8 last night, and only 7 right now in West Branch, IA. His body, the bag, and everything in it would have been literally frozen in a short time, just as if you put it all in a below 0 freezer.

IIRC. She left at 1:30 am and was arrested at 5:30 am.

Slightly OT/ But, is anyone else disturbed at the name of the gas station being "*advertiser censored* and Go"? Especially if it was off a heavily traveled highway that truckers frequent? I would be scared to death to stop at a place like that when it's still dark.
