Some interesting reads in that group.

The husband has said he never told anyone she left for Cushing that night. He claims he stated she was meeting up with a cousin but never said she was headed to Cushing… Reports ive read state that he told authorities she was going to Cushing. If that wasn’t accurate why would he just now be speaking up about it?

My interpretation (reading between the lines) right now would be, she left to meet someone (who?) at a birthday party (of?) allegedly going down in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, expected to show up there, but never arrived. I wonder also why the info in different files were never rectified, by any of the family members, including her husband.

How do you know he didn't? There are several untruths in the official set of facts that LE isn't too interested in correcting. Why would you think that is.

It was reported several times that he passed polys and was not considered a suspect by Sheriff Moore.

From he article post #57

“Our official statement is that nobody is ruled out,” Johnson stated, which is a clarification from several years ago, when it was made public that her husband had passed a polygraph test.

Yes. Odd, don't you think, that the original Sheriff said he was cleared, and then years later another one changes the story?

I know who arrested her.

I don't say Sheriff Moore didn't stated that at the time. I have no reason to believe he didn't. Unless you become a verified insider in this case you need to back up things with MSM. We can't go on hearsay. But I pulled the statement up again from the news article from 2009 that I posted below:

"Police have said Larson is not a suspect. A polygraph test he was given after Bly went missing indicated he was answering questions truthfully, Polk County Sheriff Tim Moore said".

What do you think the reason is for this change of view by Pete Johnson? Or maybe it wasn't even a change of view and he thought different from the get go.
There are people who don't believe a passed or failed polygraph is an indisputable proof of somebody's guilt or innocence. I'm one of them. Maybe Johnson didn't believe in it and Sheriff Moore did. Do you think it will stand in court as solid proof? Just wondering what your opinion is on that. BTW there are dozens of (scientific) essays about the accuracy of polygraph/lie detector tests.

Johnson was one of the investigators at the time and later became Sheriff. I suppose he knows this case through and through. Do you doubt him?

Where is Rose Marie Bly? The young St. Croix Falls, Wis., mother disappeared in August, leaving barely a trace – Twin Cities

She was the one arrested for Domestic violence. Not him. I know who arrested her.

Maybe to that point they had nothing further to base suspicion of the husband on. Perhaps a look at his history since then would reveal enough to take a second look...

From Five years gone (I hope this works, the original seems to have been gone)

CL's lawyer called the divorce and sole custody ruling “basic protections” for the children and CL at the time, on the chance she chose to leave and may decide to come back later to claim custody, although she may petition the court, if that does occur.

And with the court action, it should also be pointed out that Bly has an active bench warrant, from a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge, with a later amendment for domestic abuse, that was filed three months prior to her disappearance. She pleaded not guilty in July 2009, but with her disappearance, again the courts recognize her status as a missing person, but the warrant remains.

@Quilltr What are your thoughts about this. I questioned this already upthread. Why are things not rectified. I'm very curious about it too.

This is very sad. A true mystery. So was the entire Bly family from Wisconsin? And some moved to Tennessee?

To my knowledge, it is just Rose's sister (Candus Bly Wells, mother of Summer) who moved to TN. Rose's mother (Candus H) split her time between TN and her other home. I think CH had extended visits with the Wells family, but didn't actually move to TN. JMO.

Interesting that her car was found in a parking lot used by truckers.

The strange thing is, that this is stated, but this particular parking lot doesn't look like one that is used by truckers. It seems to be (I saw a picture of it once in one of the findrosebly facebooksites) surrounded by a few shops/post office. Maybe I can pull the picture up again.

The location of her car was unremarkable, a roomy parking lot where truck drivers sometimes left their tractor-trailers, according to the FBI VICAP alert. One local described the parking area as being near a laundromat, another noted it was close to the post office.
