He calls her a "Dummy" because she is one. He sees how she act and sees things behind the scene that we are not privy too! He's probably just sick of it and has alot of years on his poor little head that should'nt be there. He is a KID and has had to deal with things that only adults usually have to deal with. So, YES, his Mom is a dummy!

IMO, the reason he's acting out is because he's not getting enough attention. If the kids and her spend 14 hours a day together the bulk of the time is going to the eight babies. The kid who called her Dummy is probably just attention starved.

He (actually a couple of them with the hitting and other things) was acting that way before she ever brought any of new babies home, but I guess he's one of the disabled kids, and the lack of attention while she was pregnant probably affected him even more. Having 2-3 kids with special needs was another reason to not try to have any more.

How does Suleman figure she'd only make $15,000 a year working. Minimum wage would pay more than that. I thought she already had a bachelor's degree that would help her to be able to find a fairly decent job. I'm just glad I don't have to raise the kid that acts so awful and called her dummy. He would be harder to handle than 10 other kids.

yes and recall in the first interview how she said 'when I'm finished with my schooling,I'll be able to afford them.if I were just sitting around,watching tv,not being as determined as I am to succeed,that would be considered,to a certain degree,selfish'.

(ya think??!!!)well,she has a '70 tv now...and she obviously has no intention of finishing her schooling.(IMO).and never did.

It was quite short, but the interviewer (a man) asked her if she would like to have more children and she sort of said "no", but she also mentioned that if she were to get married, it isn't out of the question that she'd have "one more" (I'm paraphrasing and I can't find a link to the interview.)

She said that she receives no state assistance- she was quite adamant on that point.

The babies are getting big, they are a cute bunch.

It seems like the interview was an effort to 'soften up Octo's image', I'm thinking they are going to try for some sort of airtime in the US (JMO). I'm no more prone to 'tune in' now than I was before the interview.

The interviewer asked her about her alleged crush on Jon Gosselin... I think she sort of laughed and said it's not true (if I recall correctly.)

I am only half joking when I say we should have some kind of intervention. I fear whenever I see new posts on this thread that one of these children has been injured or neglected.

I agree,it appears there is an attempt to up her image.the 'single mom,woe-is-me' attitude didn't work,so now...on to the possibility of marriage to help improve her public persona,and possibly put more babies in the household.(in her case,scary thought!).JMO that she is not of marriage material..it requires give n take...not just take.of course ,if she does go thru with it,it may very well be a prearranged deal anyway..that would be my guess.
recall she said the same thing with the 'tups..that she just wanted ONE more...

ITA with you, but she said that she *did not* have any plastic surgery on her face. So I'm guessing the size of her lips is due to a severe food alergy. Or bees stung her. Could happen.

(!!!) According to my sister, the water weight she gained while pregnant with my nephew shot up into her breasts and has stayed there in perfect spherical shape for the last 8 years. Octomom and my sister would probably get along well.

The Good Lord saw fit to give two beautiful precious boys to Susan Smith, three precious children to Diane Downs and a host of other women who squandered their gifts. I question plenty, with all due respect . . . not the Giver of the gifts, but the one squandering them. I think I can do this with a clear conscience. It's not about the Grace of the one giving but the disgusting behavior of the recipient.

One more child? It's like she's collecting beanie babies. They aren't real separate people to her, just collectibles
