I have written to some favorite actors and actresses in my adult years. I wrote to Gillian Anderson, Dean Cain, and Jorja Fox.

I think what separates that nut in CA with the rest of us is that she takes her obssession too far. She alters her body and her life to be like her favorite actress. If it's true about the 911 call -- that's just psychotic.

If I were Angelina Jolie, I'd get a restraining order on Octomom, just to be safe. Celebrity obssessions don't always end well.

I write to my favorite authors and more often than not, they reply as well. I don't feel there's anything wrong with that. But Mr. E, if you ever get plastic surgery to look like Gillian, PM me and we'll have a chat. :crazy:

jandkmom, I totally can't believe you saw Shawn Cassidy in concert. The closest I got was being a member of The Hardy Boys Fan Club. (Did you love Leif Garrett too?)

LOL... heee heeeeheeeheeeee. I'll take the blame & the welcomed relief of not always discussing Nadya. Poor Michael Jackson, there's a new Wacko in town.

Then I have an ON topic question. This 911 call is really irking me. Is there anyway to figure out or research when the call was placed? My gut is just telling me it was the 1st week or so right after the Changling movie. Thanks to all who have pointed the information out.

To me it is so very relevant because it truly shows the instability of this woman. It shows she has an ongoing obsession, it shows that she is in dire need of attention, it shows that she has major mental issues. If CPS can have a letter submitted & added to her file with respect to this particular 911 call & the potential correlation to the release of the movie. Even the tone of her voice & the way it 'cracks' is just like Angelina.

Is there a reason that I always hear the music "They're coming to take me away ha ha" everytime I enter this thread?

PattyCake, I am so happy you will take the blame for stirring up the Octomom thread! LOL!

The only thing about the movie advertisements that I remember is that I am SURE they came out WAY before the movie was in theaters (sometimes in the ads, the movie isn't even scheduled for release and they advertise it anyway).

Did anyone see the movie? There is a thread on here about the actual case and the movie (http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72866&highlight=changeling) I didn't see the movie, but I would like to.

Anyway, I am probably as curious as you are about this call. I wonder if there is any other information that points to Nadya idolizing Jolie in an unhealthy way? (Aside from the plastic surgery, the letters and the possible situation with the 911 call?)

as far as the threats,the 911 call,etc.,I know from dealing with social services that they can't go on past threats or behavior...they have to go on how Nadya is acting right NOW..and esp. during the time that the babies are due to come home.she has already got the excuses flying for the 911 call...'it was all her hormones'.that would be difficult to prove otherwise now that the past has come and gone,and she was not analyzed for anything at the time.
her past behavior might be good for overall analyzing her for personality disorders and problems,but as far as the threats she made at the time,it needs to be something more recent in order to hold more water.
she need not be perfectly free of personality problems in order to bring the babies home,unfortunately.

Gosh, I actually hope your post is wrong, although most likely with your experience you are unfortunately right.

Then again, how she's acting right now is not my definition of a mother that has it together at all.

I know in Canada where I used to live, they can go on past history absolutely in determining the current state of a person. It cannot be the only determining factor but definitely comes into play in many decisions. RE: Angelina obsession - It would demonstrate a pattern of mental instability & mental health and not simply hormones.

I just cannot swallow that we are now going to sit back and wait. Wait for more 911 recordings, wait for more CPS & police interventions, wait to wake up to CNN Breaking News that Nadya's toddler just threw a baby out the window or worse.

There is in my opinion so much evidence that she is completely incompetent to appropriately care for these children that prevention is the only answer.

This is a unique case and if every family member & friend turned their back on Nadya and walked out on her, how can CPS determine she would be able to safely function as a parent of 14 kids under 7 yrs old? I'm for prevention for the inevitable train wreck. All my spewing about Natalie / Nadya has everything to do with those 14 kids, God help them all. This whole case has brought me to tears.

You could be right about the 911 call, but with 6 other children at home, is it impossible to believe the hospital and social workers within the employment of the hospital that someone there will find fault with the situation and advocate for the well being of the babies? In order to bring my son home from NICU over 20 years ago, I had to learn certain things before the doctors would release him from the hospital. Oh BoyzMum... I can only hope they actually make her PROVE herself and have her demonstrate over a 48 hour period she is fully capable & still alert & competent.

She claims herself that she's spending a WHOLE 5 hours a day at the hospital. OMG, those babies do not recognize her as their mother if she spends a menial 5 hours. I'd be sleeping on the floor and spending a small amount of time with the current kids at home for the 1st few weeks of their lives.

So lets see. 8 babies, 5 hours a day (assuming she's actually telling the truth) divided by diaper changes, feedings, nurturing & rocking to sleep = 37 minutes per child per day.

I'd say shes absolutely ready! :crazy:

YAH!!! Lucky 181, you are my new best friend. Yes everyone I am very over joyed to hear the 'failure' of this relationship as well. It means hopefully a better future for those 8 little babes in the hospital where they are still safe & being nurtured too.

Greedy? Isn't that what most of us have been saying from day one? She's all for the money, has nothing to do with the best interests of the kids.

Wonder if Victor took up Dr. Phil (on LKL) last week about renegotiating with Angels MINUS Gloria... Dr. Phil promised to set up a one on one meeting between the creator of Angels & Victor/Nadya and attempt to make the arrangement work irregardless of the deadline that had past.

They probably offered Nayda THE ENTIRE WORLD of care, love & assistance with her children quite possibly with Dr. Phil financing as well for way past the 6 months. Because NO monies were handed to Nadya, she probably destroyed all offers.

Praying praying praying for the RIGHT outcome for these babies. I'm excited not because Nadya has fallen on her face. I'm excited because I hope prayers are being answered with respect to the babies. Everyone needs to do right by these children.:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

When I first heard the tape I remarked how different her voice sounded as to how we hear her now - thinking the present Octomum's voice was a put on. On re-listening I'm with you and it's one total act!! :banghead::banghead:

It felt so good to read her publicist say Nadya's nuts~ I don't wish her ill, but if enough people see it, prayerfully someone can intervene and help the children. 14 lives at risk is a pretty big deal in my eyes.
