"The 30-year-old has limited parental rights,
and her two children are in foster care.
We confirmed that the woman gave birth to her third child at the hospital in Nowa Sól in 2021.

According to the information we have,
Mateusz J. did not imprison Małgorzata immediately when they met.

Social workers from Leszno knew about her abusive partner and suggested separating herself from him.

'According to the information we have,
it was not a story that someone grabbed this woman from the street and imprisoned'
- we hear from the MOPR in Leszno."

Thank you for the updates! This helps to answer, somewhat, my previous questions.

We wonder where the information that the woman had been imprisoned since 2019 comes from, since she only escaped from the municipal intervention and readaptation center in mid-2020," we hear from the director of the Municipal Family Support Center in Leszno.
So maybe it was 4 years and not 5

" 'Her physical condition allows for discharge'

As we learned at the District Hospital in Głogów,
the patient will leave the ward where she has been since last week on Monday.

The Prosecutor's Office has prohibited doctors from revealing the 30-year-old's condition,
but we were told that
'her physical condition allows for discharge'.

It may take much longer for her to return to good mental health.

As we have heard,
Social Welfare Centres
from Leszno and Głogów have been cooperating on this matter for several days.

She lived in the former many years ago, and is currently residing in the latter.

It is likely that on Monday,
employees of the District Family Support Centre in Głogów
will indicate the place to which Małgorzata will be transported.

There, she is to receive professional psychological care."

Is anyone else surprised the hospital staff didn’t dig more deeply into her previous injuries-/ especially the one requiring surgery?

I’m just glad she finally felt comfortable alerting the doctors!

Hospital answers:

"This was not the 30-year-old's first visit to the hospital.

However,
she had previously vehemently refused when the staff, seeing her bruises, wanted to notify the services.

'The woman came to us with injuries indicating that she may have been subjected to violence.

Each time,
she was interviewed on the subject.

And each time,
she swore that no one was using violence against her.

She categorically refused to notify the services'
-
emphasizes Ewa Todorov, spokeswoman for the District Hospital in Głogów.

She explains
that if the patient is an adult and not incapacitated,
the hospital is obliged to respect her will.

Now, in the Głogów hospital,
all medical documentation concerning the victim of the Głogów torturer is being checked."

She either had Stockholm syndrome, or feared retaliation by him in some way. Either that, or he had tricked her into thinking it was somehow her fault?
