I hope I am wrong too. But, it has been speculated that RL is connected to the deaths of his two relatives (also from Lewis County) and they have never been found either.

I was told there is no familial connection between RL & the 2 missing ladies.

It's all over the web, and supposedly confirmed by someone local on (I think) a FB sight.(which I'm not on so I couldn't read)

I looked and couldn't find any official mention of a connection other than a mention of a "supposed" confirmation from a local TV or newspaper reporter, but when I tried the links, article wasn't available any more.

I have thought from day1 that they are related. I have also felt when they find Aliayah the two women will also be found. I believe that is why Ralph and Lena are so ---bold. If you get away with something once, you can repeat it with the same results. **sighs**

I am certain that I read that Ralph Lunsford is Metz's first cousin, a grandson of Marcus Maxine Stalnaker, and a nephew to Mary Friend. Ralph Lunsford's mother is Pam Pugh. (Still looking for the links to verify).

Not so. I looked up the marriage record of Ralph's mom and dad. Her name is Sharon Snyder. She married Ralph Lunsford on 26 Nov. 1962 She isn't (I'm told) one of Marcus Maxine's daughters.

There was an article where one of the grandsons of Marcus commented about his missing relatives, in an article about Aliyah. His is either a Harrison or Stalnaker. He seemed very friendly and a source of info.

If only I could remember where to find the article!!

That's interesting. From what I could learn JF & JM were the prime suspects.

I wouldn't be one bit surprised if RL had something to do with both cases.

I agree - although some people are more comfortable behind the scenes than in front of a camera. We haven't heard anything about any of that though have we?

If Aliayah's supposed father is NOT, doesn't Lena know who IS then? Maury Povich can solve that mystery in an hour by inviting all the players and having them tested.... :waitasec:

Aliayah Lunsford, Corey Burkhart, Maxine Stalnaker, and Mary Friend- all people this community came out to support at a vigil in Weston.

Sherry Toms and Susie Kerns usually hold the vigils for Aliayah Lunsford, the toddler whose been missing since September.
It was their idea to expand the vigil Saturday night to other families that have lost loved ones.

U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey entered an order Thursday scheduling the sentencing of Lena Lunsford for May 22 in Elkins.

Hopefully the FBI's theory is a good one with some solid evidence. An arrest would be great but I'm not holding my breath. I am getting discouraged

Aliayah would be home by now if they had something.
No way would LE not bring that baby home.

I'm discouraged too.

I don't even need an arrest (although that with conviction following would be optimal). Bringing Aliayah home is all that's necessary at this point in time.

I have my own theories, but like LE, won't post them - too many :eye: on websleuths - no need to give pointers. :shush:
How long will they watch and wait for someone to slip-up?

I don't know how to start a new thread but there is another young girl missing here in WV. Porshia Atwell was kidnapped by her father after he murdered her mother and tied up/and robbed the grandparents. Here's the link:
