Anyone knowledgeable on jewelry know what 925 stands for?

ETA: Nevermind, I did a search. According to this:
925 is a standard sign used to mark sterling silver, and the meaning of the stamp is that the silver content in the piece is 92.5% (i.e., the remaining 7.5% is comprised of other elements).

This may have been discussed before, but I never really looked at the engraving up close on this one:
12845

Is it just me or does it look like there is a dot and extra space between the M and the SS?

M. S S

Could the M mean Mr or Mrs? In which case the person's initials would be SS.

OR could the M be a Roman Numeral instead? Although, I don't know what 1000 SS could be.

McSomething? I've seen M'Something used in print and a dot might make more sense for jewelry.

What is that to the left of the M? Something engraved (flowers?) or just scratches?

I haven't seen Ruth Jimenez suggested...unless I missed it. What do you think?

Ruth Jimenez, aged 41 (Namus/Utah Dept. Public Safety) 33 (Charlie Project)
5' 4" to 5' 5" (Namus) 5' to 5' 4" (Charlie Project) 5' (Utah DoPS)
160 - 170 lbs. (size16)
missing from Sandy, UT (suspicious circumstances)
July 1999
only speaks Spanish
4 earrings in each ear (likes jewelry)
No DNA, but dental available and will be entered later

btw...Whenever I see SS initials I think of saints (plural)...Long shot, but maybe M SS is for a patron saint or saints.

Overlayed MP and UID...Submitting.

The only issue I can find with Ruth is that she went missing in early July, but the bones discovered in early August appeared to have been there for a long period of time. After only one month, I can't imagine the remains would be completely skeletonized.

Yeah, I thought about that too. But, then I thought she could've been missing a long time before it was actually reported. Especially, if this is some sort of family abduction, if you know what I mean...
There is very little information available, except for the words "suspicious circumstances".

Exactly. This is why it's a good idea to go ahead and submit a case rather than not. It's not like it can do any harm.

Mary Brubaker has a picture with a ring that looks like it has two stones similar to the one on the UID: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/35966/

Her jaw is square like the sketch. Her circumstances say she was traveling from Colorado to Yuma, AZ with a boyfriend. Fox Park in WY is not for from the CO border if they had decided to go the opposite direction. One thing that doesn't fit is Mary's height is 68 inches tall and the UID estimate is 62 inches. But then I notice the UID file says "62, cannot estimate". I wonder if they put 62 inches only as an average height placeholder?

If anyone would like to submit Mary, please go ahead, thanks.

MSS could mean Main Squeeze Security,

The security that comes with being someone's bottom *****.

It provides one with the comfort of knowing that, even though your partner is out ****ing other people, they'll always come home to you.

Also known as a Social Security Number for the polyamorous.

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=MSS

Of course I don't know when people starting using this. Maybe somebody else knows?

Was it to shocking? Sorry for that.

Not shocking, just don't have any context to comment on whether it's likely.
