Surely, LE has video of his vehicle traveling to this area.

Did LE find "something" in the search at the parents home to convince them?

Would LE initiate such an extensive search based on word of mouth of the parents, alone?

I think it is possible that LE have seen him on one of the trail cameras in Carlton Reserve.

There are at least 10 of them that I have seen mentioned (along with trailcam photos) in various links, like these ...

LE is taking advice from POI's parents? very odd.
I would hope it's based on credible sitings or GPS versus their word.

What else do they have? The car was there. The parents have been very careful not to break letter of law, with attorney advising them every step and word. If caught lying about this report, they’d be in tremendous trouble with the law.

I’m sure FBI is also watching their movements carefully and checking contacts movements. LE doesn’t have a lot of choice when parents file an endangered missing persons report. If they don’t act on it, especially in a case like this, and the person is found dead exactly where parents pointed him to be going, it can really cause them problems. Florida LE already getting publicly shamed for refusing to act on GP’s mother filing a Missing Person’s Report. And NY state did act upon it. Shame on Florida!!!! So, yes, they have to step it up. Also, they didn’t keep track of BL at all. They really have no idea whether he was even in that house, when he left, nothing, other than parents’ say.

I don't knw if this has already been discussed, this thread has moved so fast, but is there some reason why there seems to be so little speculation on BL being in another country that has no extradition to the USA? Is it possible his parents mentioned the park/reserve as a red herring? Is it possible that they may have just put him on a plane soon after he came home and before GP was even listed as a missing person?

Police would know if they put him on a plane to another country at this point.
IMO that doesn't mean he didn't go to another country via another route. I actually think that's likely.

They have to be places to walk in to Canada thru the forest without going thru a check point station,
I wonder if the Laundries family has other family members in Kentucky, WestVirginia, Tennessee or in the Carolina mountain area’s, a person could live off the grid along time without being noticed in the rural areas, JMO

Is it a personal outing that has to be supervised? Are they even allowed this?
Is it an escort to the station for questionning?
Are they going to make an identification?
Are they taking them to their son?

Do we have confirmed dates of the camping trip yet? My understanding is that the trip took place before the media spotlight descended on BL. If my understanding is correct and it was before 9/10/21 (when, according to the Websleuths timeline, Gabby’s parents contacted BL’s parents), there may not have been any “circumstances” yet. IMO, BL certainly knew what happened to Gabby, but we have no way of knowing what information his parents had - they could have been blissfully unaware at that point.

However, if it’s after 9/10/21, then it’s a little more concerning.

I agree. When you consider that they had earlier stated they felt they had exhausted the search there and then re-opened it, I'm sure there's a good reason why the search was re-opened in that area.

I agree why did the pizza get ordered by parent? A whole week at hotel? Seems very odd. No transportation for her? IMOO they separated for a reason. Was she ill? Hurt? Healing from being hit? This is in the southwest corner of the park. It showed a big piece of equipment mowing down tree for a minute or two right before this. We had two live feeds that both cut their audio then a minute later their video and now no lives to find anywhere. It was nbc and wfla. Now no one shows it the airspace. This case is Federal and will be prosecuted as such. Florida laws do not apply. The Feds are notorious for pursuing Obstruction of Justice charges. You don't lie, mislead, withhold, tamper, or obstruct a Federal investigation.

I once was a bookkeeper for a business owner who ran afoul of the Feds. The business was raided and we were all handcuffed and taken out of the building. I was read my rights and also had it explained what would happen if I was not forthcoming. I would get 10 years in prison. Turns out I didn't have much info. Don't lie to the Feds!

- When did he obtain a lawyer, was that only on the 10th Sept or abouts. Is that the first mention

- Her family trying to get a hold of her, when did they actually start asking the LAUNDRIES? was that only on the 10th or was it earlier

- The family camping trip was called a weekend trip by the neighbours. Was that the weekend of Sat 4th or Sat 11th?

I had a little giggle at how very differently he looks to BL
