Some people blush on their arms when they're upset, someone with an anxiety issue would be prone to crying, sometimes females cry as a manipulative action when cornered, etc. I think they're trained as well as they can be, but had they known the details about the 911 call, they would have proceeded differently. I do think a few questions should have been asked, but with so many departments operating at low capacity, and calls coming in and trying to make split second decisions, it's a hard situation. Maybe the officers do need more training. Maybe there is a need for more officers. Maybe they need to change how they deal with cases of DV. All these maybe's are why they're investigating.

I also don't believe his parents are involved to the extent most people think. These people own / sell property and have some kind of juice franchise.

We are not talking about Whitey Bulger. They are not a well established criminal organization with the intelligence, connections or resources to fund an extended run from LE.

No one will ever be able to convince me that the three of them were able to collectively devise a master plan while covering up a murder.

I do however, believe that BL's father knows enough about real estate to have stashed him somewhere with enough supplies to last a while (re the "camping" rip")

I agree. I don't think he is as far away as many are speculating, despite having a several day head start. Hitchhiking or bus/train riding opens up the possibility of being spotted. I do wonder if he has his bike. I'd bet that he is still somewhere in FL. The best way to catch him is to post flyers everywhere. He will be running out of supplies soon. MOO

Jessica Schultz told the San Francisco Chronicle that she saw BL in the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area near the park on August 26. She said she was driving behind BL while he was in the couple's white van alone, before he parked it on the side of the road.

Aug 27-Gabby and BL at Merry Piglets, a Tex-Mex restaurant, between 1 and 2 p.m. on Aug. 27, when they said an agitated BL began arguing with a waitress.

The Laundries did leave this morning in the red truck. They returned home with the Mustang. And then left again in the truck

3. Only to BL'S mother? Not father or sister?
3a- if this out reach occurred after 8/30, this statement should be moved to there in the timeline
4. By whom?
5. Who is B? Was this statement made on this date?
6. Who is this second person?
7. I think you dropped reference here to what was used without authorization.
7a - note warrant was issued in mid-September not late August
8. Enters what?/known based on what?
9. Wasn't there some confusion whether this was that weekend or the next?
10. Just texts, not calls? Only to BL and BL'S mother?
11. Report filed with what agency/ jurisdiction? Is there info on when they previously attempted to file a report with [Florida/NP?] LE?
12. Date note placed/by whom?
13. Saying?

16. Covering what? ( And when was warrant for hard drive, etc., inside van issued?)

General: might also want to add the 911 call [8/12?] ("Chris1") and the LE outreach at the Cafe that resulted in a witness report ("Chris2"). Was there another 911 call/if so was that from Chris2?

Another question about the camper top at the Laundries - I saw references the other day about its being a "new" camper top - is that what the neighbors said? If so, did they mean it was new in September/that they hadn't had one before, or that they had one previously then in September [?] appeared to have acquired a new one?

Just some things that have been mentioned on other threads as rumor and whatnot. At the end of the day, Gabby didn’t deserve to die.

But I didn't hear them say, "yeah Gabby, guys sure can be crazy and violent, can't they!!!" Maybe that would have helped her pour out what he had done to her that morning re slapping and hitting her.
 
One way to be respectful to Gabby & her family is to stop placing blame on anyone other than the person who allegedly killed her! It wasn’t the Moab police. It wasn’t her family (they didn’t pick up anything to raise flags she was in danger) it wasn’t the fault of anyone except the one who killed her! She wasn’t a helpless 2 year old. She was a vibrant young women <modsnip>
