Are we allowed to discuss his favorite books that he has posted on his Bizarre_Design Instagram?

His favorite author is Chuck Palahniuk famed author of FIGHT CLUB.
He mentions INVISIBLE MONSTERS and LULLABY in several posts.

This is what stands out to me. He relates to this author for a reason:

"Palahniuk's books prior to Lullaby have distinct similarities. The characters are people who have been marginalized in one way or another by society, and often react with self-destructive aggressiveness. He labels these stories as transgressional fiction. Beginning with Lullaby, the style of his novels changed to mostly satirical horror stories.
Palahniuk's writing often contains anti-consumerist themes"
One past Depop listing shows a stack of 8 of Palahniuk's books in the background. I know the subject matter appears rather dark, but without knowing more...I believe that all we can glean is that he likes this particular author. This is where FBI agents behind the scenes may be able to see past internet search history to determine if this indeed is relevant in some way to what has transpired.

also bunkers would need ventilation of some sort...and this would probably be noticeable? If no ventilation then it's basically a tomb? And, would hope digging a bunker is something neighbors would notice. I think it's not likely he's at the parents' house or in a bunker at the house, or anywhere in that neighborhood.

just my opinion

From what a Florida person said, the water table is high, you dig down two feet and you hit water. They don’t have basements, cellars, or bunkers there unless they’re specially sealed and those cost a fortune.

Hi, this is my first post. I think he could be in Mexico or Cuba by now. Do we know if he speaks Spanish? I would love for any high school friends (or anyone) to confirm or deny this.

Welcome!! Could be, yes. Luckily with Mexico we have extradition.

My understanding is GP lived with BL in his parent's house for two years.
Will his parents go to her funeral?
I sure as heck hope not.
They claim to have considered her as family, but their actions proved otherwise.
Speculating.
I’ve been wondering, did gabby live with the laundries at their previous residence? The one neighbor said that their house had been a rental not that long ago.
Also have we seen GP’s driver’s license or anything that would show her address of record? I’m still wondering how it is that NPPD didn’t enter HER home to look for her as a missing person the same night that they seized the van.

I’m in and around Toronto, and I’ve been so enthralled by this case that if he ever ended up my way I expect to be able to id him. That said, I don’t think that guy looks like him really. Also don’t believe he could cross the border undetected unless he found some remote crossing that isn’t under observation. Canada customs scrutinizes your passport and so on when you come in. With covid, there’s even more questions to be asked.

I'm originally from the Toronto area, too. To tell you the truth, I think BL looks like hundreds of guys these days. Early male pattern baldness? Shave your head! I don't think that it's him. I believe he is still in the US.

I wondered if the FBI would bore out parts of the wood where they found blood? *cringe*

Yeah it's weird. I'm not at all familiar with crime scene procedures. But, why the orange paint over the evidence, it that's the case. Some photos look like there could be blood near the orange paint. But, I don't know how that orange paint or whatever it is works. Maybe somebody could help with this.

Laundrie as a name brings up no ethnicity to me at all. I wonder if it's been changed over the years. (My family name was). Not that ethnicity would indicate anything about criminal activity because it wouldn't.

I did look the name up as a Surname, and it is likely of English origin. Landry is another spelling....

We're tired of waiting for the FBI to tell us stuff.
We want to dive in there ourselves... we're in a hurry now..
I want to know whether he's playing the role of Palahniuk or one of his central characters?
Any ideas?

Also, if the van was hers - why hasn't he been charged with stealing her vehicle?

When he fled WY and showed up at his parent’s home, he didn’t seem to be thinking things through. He is in Gabby’s car without her. Her clothing and some belongs could have been in it. Then there is the credit card theft. Gabby’s parents are also starting to get worried and he isn’t talking to them.
Sometimes confusion can muddle a case. Think Jonbennet Ramsey, family friends were in the house. There was the longest ransom note ever, with rough drafts in the trash. She was found by her father in the house, it seemed like it would be easily solved. The parents employed lawyers and besides a few interviews they remained pretty silent. The confusion and the things that didn’t make sense drew attention to the case and left people theorizing about Jonbennet’s death. The Ramsey’s had lawyers that probably advised against talking too much to avoid being caught in a lie or getting backed into a set timeline. Right now we are wondering where BL is. LE has spent over a million dollars looking for him in a reserve. People aren’t sure if he is alive or dead. While he is on the run or “camping” it gives a mental distance to Gabby’s murder and allows time to create a different narrative. Trying to make sense of things keeps people distracted. That’s just my opinion.
Also reminiscent of the Anthony’s. Both parents were vacillating between protecting/enabling Casey while giving mixed signals about Caylee.
Fact is BL is quite young <modsnip>
The seemed only concerned with BL and not Gabby.
I agree with the distractions.

They need to check or search the Appalachians, I read not on an approved site that BL lived for months there. I also read that GP best friend stated this also....
Hmmm, interesting. As I mentioned about a million threads or so ago, the App Trail begins in north Georgia, and runs to Maine. There's lots of places for camping and hiking, and the AT is a known and popular challenge for experienced hikers to hike the whole range. It takes years, if one is able to take only a few weeks or so a year. I have several friends who have done it as a group "project." Of course the fall of the year is beautiful up there, as many mountain ranges are, and now is a good time for these hikes -- before it gets too snowy and cold. BL could easily be a needle in a haystack up there.
Mountain people in some Appalachian areas can be very particular about people in "their mountains." Some areas are more friendly than others. (I don't live close to the mountains, but some of my friends were raised there, and it can be a very different way of life up there.)
