That was my thinking when I heard that, also.Interesting… I thought he was “just” wanted for using her bank card…

It was reported LE had info on their phones (maybe pings) at one point, and it was reported about both on the same day, so they did likely share an account.HIs other phone might have been on an account with Gabby, however whatever account it was on the call history can be obtained by subpoena by LE. IMO.
That’s possible, yes.Attorney seems to be really trying to clarify Brian's phone situation. I ask "why" is it so important to them. FBI and LE need to figure that out, there must be a reason they don't want this delved into. JMO
There are also private Instagram accounts people have that they call “finstas” that are separate from their public accounts and only available for their friends to access (private) and usually are a little more wild or explicit or funny, not the stuff you put on the page your parents follow, MOO My Own Experience.Oh! didn't know that! Thanks that makes sense!
A possibility for sure. You also need good/decent credit to get an account of your own, correct? So he would need a deposit if he's score is less than 600 I imagine. (I don't think his credit score is above a 600 IMO). So mom, went with him to pay the deposit.I just had a thought, not sure if it's been discussed.
The statement from BL's lawyer says that BL purchased a phone on 9/4 and that it wasn't a burner as BL opened a new account with AT&T.
Why would he open a NEW account if he just lost his old phone? Did he and GP share an account? I know I've shared accounts with boyfriends in the past, and given BL's controlling nature we've heard about, I wouldn't be remotely surprised if he talked GP into it. If he told his parents they just broke up, it wouldn't be suspicious to them for him to open a new account.
Wow, it's getting out of hand now. The fight that broke out last nite:

He’ll probably get his own burner phone soon!!!This is exactly why I think it's a big mistake for SB to be texting journalists small parts of the story. He may not have meant new "account" but just trying to signal it was not burner phone, it had an account attached to it. I don't think we know either way. His texts are just one sentence answers.

Here is an article that states that GP's probable destination was NY: Brian Laundrie manhunt: Florida park documents confirm family camped out after Gabby Petito disappearance
That is very interesting - it didn't register with me before. Had GP told her mother that she would be returning to NY rather than her home in Florida at the Laundries'?
EDIT - it could also be that she had to say that in order to file a missing person's report in NY? I don't know.
You know what I find odd? No other social media accounts for Gabby or Brian other than the the two IG accounts, Gabby's fb and the Depop. Kids today are all about their social media and yet we see nothing about them from high school, or before they were together. I've looked and looked and found nothing. There's got to be some other social media out there.
I don't see them pouring endless resources into searching for a corpse.Do you think that they are searching Carlton for the phone?? I believe the FBI is not using all this manpower based on the Mustang being parked there and the parents saying he is there. I think he is somewhere else.
Was this confirmed or conjecture?IIRC he didn't have an old account- just a device that hooked up to wifi
IMO the search at the reserve alone is reported to have already cost 1.2 million. It is highly unlikely they would spend that amount of money in that dangerous swamp for evidence solely. MOOMaybe the searches are for evidence solely? I am aware LE would know where he is but I don’t think they would share that necessarily.
I agree, but either way, wasn't it confirmed that AT&T doesn't sell burners anyway?I just wish we could get some verification about the 14th (the article began with TMZ but then was picked up by Fox, Yahoo news, The Independent, etc.), because the attorney says only on Sep 4 (of course he may not have been informed on everything) and FBI will neither deny nor confirm.
It is the neighbor. I w I work from home as a programmer and that bullhorn guy would drive me insane. I'd be pretty darn angry. Does not affect the environment I raise my child in and mean I am a bad influence. Just means I cannot work with constant noise. This is not bullhorn guy's first go around, he is an obnoxious nuisance IMO.
Gen Z only uses snapchat and instagram as my daughter informed me. FB is dead to most of that generation I suppose
Are they a public LE organization? Or do you have to pay them to show up? If the latter, Dog is probably paying them to help.
My son is 22. He has a fb account, but told me fb is for old people lol. He doesn't ever use it. He actively uses snapchat the most. I don't think he has an IG account. Definitely has a Twitter because of politics. I'm sure he also has a sm account I'm not aware of.This! I mean maybe not BL (he strikes me as kind of anti-social media) - but my daughter is GP's age and has had multiple accounts on sm... strange.
I'm not assuming his phone was insured (did someone else say that?) or that he got a new number. Just new phone =/= new account.IF he didn't have a "full function" type of service (as was hypothesized here several threads back) getting service that did everything (voice, text, data without having to use an app with Wifi) might have been technically a new account. A new account doesn't necessarily mean a new number. And I'm not sure why everyone assumes his old phone was fully insured. I know people who do not insure their phones or don't do it when they are past a certain age.
