I see the lawyer confirmed the trip home now.

Brian Laundrie flew to Florida after Aug. 12 fight with Gabby Petito

Brian Laundrie 'flew to Florida to empty a storage unit five days after fight with Gabby Petito' | Daily Mail Online

ETA: This flight makes no sense to me. Who paid for it? What was important enough that a storage unit needed to be emptied while on a planned cross-country trip?? And honestly, you could pay someone to empty a storage unit for less than the price of a plane ticket. The timing seems to fit in with things going downhill potentially in BL’s and Gabby’s relationship so it’s just very odd to me. Did he have time to think and plan hurting her? Did she take the time away to decide she wanted to be done with the relationship?

That's their story and they are sticking to it. Until new facts are presented to them that is. Then that will change.

Moo.

I think that the FBI has had time to go over the mustang's gps and the timeline didn't match up with the L's story. So Mr. Attorney came out with a statement. Waiting on him to opine about that fact that his client stole Gabby's debit card and used it to fund his trip home...

I don't understand either. The police are not going to be making any public statements that SB has to get ahead of. I can't for the life of me understand his constant statements. All he is doing is making his client(s) look worse, IMO
he is repeating what they tell him, it's almost like he wants them busted for lies, but they CAN lie to him, just not to agents who they won't talk to. jmo

I am not too perturbed by his statements. Without them, we would hear nothing - except different 'experts' opinions.

Hey guys just wanted to say I saw the dr Phil interview before WS went down and my heart and soul goes out to the petito family. I think we can observe what they are thinking in regards to the laundries. Have they responded at all to cassies interview?

The Petito family is the epitome of grace - this story is heartbreaking and the fact that they are choosing to turn this tragedy into as positive of a situation tells so much of the type of people they are... and how they raised such a beautiful soul that has captivated people everywhere!

Watching the Dr Phil interview, they were talking about his skills as a "survivalist" and how he bragged about it (roughly 20 minutes in)....got me thinking if everyone is looking for him in the woods or off the beaten path, could he be hiding in plain sight ? Not in the woods because he knows everyone is looking there!?

Just a thought - and MOO.

IMO, Cassie is still suspicious. I want to be compassionate towards her situation (although I do feel sad for her children) but there are several inconsistencies from her interview with the protestors yesterday.
In a previous long post that I posted last night I listed some of the contradictions in the statements by Cassie and her husband Jimmy, but unfortunately it got lost with the server update :( and I'm too tired to type it all up again so I'll just list one problem.
The main concern is, how did Cassie not even once ask "Where is Gabby?" or how did her children never ask about Gabby when they went to Fort de Soto on the 6th from 2PM to 8PM?
I don't believe at all that Cassie, Jimmy, or their children never asked about Gabby on Sept 1st or Sept 6th.

That's my question too. Timeline is still screwy with that date.

Now I see where I got the 4th….

But the Laundrie family's attorney, Steven Bertolio, confirmed Thursday that "a phone was purchased on September 4, 2021 and Brian opened an account with AT&T for that phone."

Bertolino added: Brian left that phone at home the day he went for a hike in the preserve on September 14, 2021 and the FBI now has that phone."

Brian Laundrie bought cellphone from Florida store days before disappearance, attorney confirms

At 15:40 the Petito's attorney confirms Brian stole Gabby's credit card.
Just so my brain doesn’t explode from this man’s many confirmations, can someone with a law background please explain to me why on earth he is confirming anything?! What if an attorney wants to present alternate scenarios in court and this guy has already confirmed everything? Is he trying to make it so BL can’t get a fair trial? I know they’re fairly benign “texts” but the absurdity of an attorney confirming anything without a really good reason has been occupying my brain as I’ve read his continued “clarifications” today.

JMO.

HOW DO YOU FORGET THE DAY YOUR SON GOES MISSING? Also, was the date ever confirmed of 9/14 from video in the AT&T store? How can he leave a burner phone at home on 9/14 when he goes missing on 9/13?

Question, too, is why it took until 10/5 to make the correction. We here in the public had seen footage from 9/15 of that car at their home. Surely someone in the L household or advisor/s had seen that before today. I understand the need to verify before speaking (or to correct what you previously stated incorrectly), but I keep coming back to SB and his handling of this situation as an attorney. Texting to reporters, letting incorrect information he previously provided hang out there uncorrected for weeks....

If I were his client, I would be LIVID.
