Imo, it's more that they can rule out others. I don't know how they could nail Brian with how she died questions. If he's guilty, he'll either refuse to say or say some other COD. If he admits the COD, that's not really nailing him, imo. More like a confession. jmo

You should read Barry Morphew's arrest warrant. He did answer questions.

Not answering questions, of course, makes an intimate partner look guilty. People in relationships involving marriage or engagement typically answer questions about their partner's disappearance, unless they are involved - so yes, he would look really guilty.

And many people wish Brian would just tell the truth - even if it's a confession. People do that. People do actually confess. It's perhaps not common, but it's the right thing to do.

Yes, that's a very good point!! On the 911 call Dennis says he was *in the parking lot to the AT* (this is a quote, using * this for quotation marks because my quote key is broken lol), but I don't know what that looks like/how secluded the parking lot is or how far off the highway etc. What do you think about Dennis' story? I've been a little on the fence just because eyewitnesses can be so unreliable... mind you, I think the unreliability increases when people are asked to recall past events/dates, & DD did call right away.

Whoops, sorry, that was bad of me then... I had not known that; though for locals it's possible that you might do something like simply run in to use a comfort station or similar; it seems far more potentially likely that Brian could have thought Dennis was heading out.

My gut feeling about Dennis, is that he is both sincere and sincerely wrong.

And he is grinning. At the moment that pic was taken, he knew he was a killer, a thief , a liar ... what a delicious secret he had, no one knew!.. only he, and he could ham up the part of the returned brother, with the nephews, such a nice guy.

Reminiscent of the smiling, laughing BL during the Moab stop by police … ugh!

Maybe he did think she had gone off and left him, and when he eventually realized she was missing he felt ashamed, embarrassed, guilty and scared that he misjudged the situation and blames himself. And realizes that no matter what he says, he will be accused. Just a thought...

So, in this theory, how did she die at the edge of a large campground?

Even if he's charged and arrested, he's not under any obligation to talk. Not during police interrogation, and not during trial.

Only a moral and ethical obligation, that's all.

The law is not everything, in fact the law is our last resort when moral and ethical behavior fails us, as it seems to have done in this case.

have a look at the original Nport Presser when the head honcho gets up and says we know where Brian Laundry is . That's in the early days when he is at home (somewhere about the 11th when this is all starting to break). At that point he will have his AT and T phone on. So he might not have played the FBI but he sure played the local cops. The either found his handset (or even the earlier one ) from tower dumps or they believed the parents.

Another case of the smartest man in the room - Chad Issak (Silent Chad) . He thought he was the smartest in the room too... (Nth Dakota) but he left a revolver in the bottom of his freezer in a plastic bowl smelling of bleach. Moreover all the top works was missing as was the firing pin. He even kept 38 cal brass which had been fired in a sock, knowing that it could not be linked to the revolver (Ruger LCR of unique design) because the firing pin was gone.

The Jury convicted him anyway. (The murder of five people at a business about 1.5 yrs back).

I was not surprised at the video and phone tracking, but I think CI was. I was shocked at the stuff he kept that incriminated him.

Hopefully BL will leave lots of tidbits to lead to a conviction. If they can catch him. After today's bombshell, I'm thinking he had 10 days to prepare, he's hunker down in a house or out of the country. BL is just to high maintenance, gotta have his parents to lean on and support him, don't think he's ruffing it. Most national parks and the AT do NOT allow campfire or open flame, will bring a ranger for sure.

Moo...

He doesn’t look tired in the CL photo with nephews. This is a long shot, but could someone help him drive home? Monster energy drinks? I don’t get it!
I have thought this for awhile. Think for a minute. when did RL cancel those dates for the 1st date of the camping trip? Maybe because either Mommy or daddy flew out there to drive home with BL. Now if true that would explain why the camping trip was moved. This is MOO

What do you all think of this new timeline change (the date BL disappeared)? Is it possible it's because of B. Entin's evidence about the mustang returning on the Wed (not the Thurs they've previously maintained). I wonder why they released this info TODAY... could it have to do w Cassie's comments yesterday & today, or the Petito comments today on Dr. Phil? What does it do for their case, do you think, i.e., why do you think they felt the need to clarify? What is the benefit? Or is it just more scattershot communication with no real strategy...

Georgia? To heck you say! I live here and had no idea.
I do not know. I saw this in a post. Someone else said it is not correct. I knew of WV bc of a report that I don't think we are allowed to post? The poster's video was deleted so I assume it was not permitted and even if it was given permission afterward I wouldn't know how to find it. Sorry. MOO.

Accused is a whole lot different than charged & convicted IMO. & right now…all he is doing is continuing to write a story that would royally not sit well at all with a jury. I could see this behavior just flying all over them. Innocent people don’t run. That’s all obviously JMO. :)

Agreed. If he is in fact still alive and is eventually caught, he's diminished his chances to convince a jury of his innocence to near zero. I can't even imagine what he could say to exonerate himself, especially if he keeps on being a fugitive...he needs to show up and stand trial for taking the money.

If he's innocent, he may get to keep it. If people believe his reasons for taking it...

It’s all of the above and more. The room is getting smaller, the walls are closing in etc etc

Not sure what the info is but I think they are preparing for CL to give whatever information she has to LE (and possibly MSM). IMO they are trying to get in front of it.
