Yeah, I know, that’s what I mean - did he get her to get her dad to order it, so that they didn’t have to use their own card, which could be traced.

The order could still be traced with her Dad's credit card and Dad's statement.

A few thoughts I made note of while the thread was closed for review.
1- In an early thread I had mentioned that Gabby's parents must not have her on their plan because they could probably see her call & text history. When someone had said that they didn't think that was possible, I went digging. In our plan we have our adult children on our plan. If we log into our accounts we can see the phone numbers of all the people they have had calls and texts with- not the actual texts, but the numbers from and to. According to my husband, not all accounts are still like this, there are certain things that would set this up (if your plan was set up by an employer, etc). I am assuming that her parents either don't have this set up or do and aren't speaking to when her last text was or to who.
2- Seeing the comments from LE (especially the Utah article linked a few pages back) really makes me nervous. Reminders of the Kristin Smart investigation in the early days when LE came right out and said that wo Paul Flores speaking they have nothing - leading to 25 years of silence....I sure hope that LE is really careful in the words they use and message they send to BL and his family of how important his speaking to them is. YES we all know that it is - but if he thinks his word is all that is needed, that silence will keep him out of jail...yikes!
3- We are all talking about this trip to FL from 17th-23rd, do we know this was actually taken? I honestly haven't seen it mentioned anywhere and I would think this would be discussed at length by media. Do we have a link that I missed? I know that North Port, FL is close to the Allegiant airport in FortMyers/Punta Gorda and they do fly direct to SLC, UT. So I wouldn't doubt that he used their airline to get a cheaper flight. Just trying to think through this piece.

My very abusive ex also did this to me, because I questioned him on a truth. Drove like an absolute maniac in my car through town and home. I was terrified but couldn't give him the satisfaction and just sat there. He later went on to try and end my life. So yeah, typical abuser tactic.

Brian Laundrie’s sister says it was “typical” for her brother and his girlfriend Gabby Petito to fight and then take a break from each other.


Asked about the police bodycam footage of officers speaking to a sobbing Petito and Laundrie after they got into a fight in Utah on Aug. 12, Cassie said: “It looked typical of both of them. Whenever they’d fight they’d take a break and be fine.”

Cassie admitted she hadn’t yet spoken to her brother after he returned to Florida in the couple’s van without Petito on Sept 1.

#MISSING UPDATE: "Without a doubt, on my husband’s life, I know for a fact that was their van." Couple claims they spotted #GabbyPetito's van in the Jenny Lake parking lot of Grand Teton National Park on August 25th.
Family members believe this could prove Petito made it to Wyoming with her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie. They believe she vanished shortly after.

Gabby’s father: ‘My gut tells me that something bad happened’

Gabby’s father, Joe Pepito told HLN that he feared that “something bad” had happened to his daughter.

He said: “My gut tells me that something bad happened, and I am never going to be able to hold my baby girl again”.

“What my head tells me, is that if I focus on that, if I focus on that, I’m not going to be able to do the job that needs to be done, that her boyfriend, or fiancé should be doing. He should be leading this charge.”

Authorities searching for Gabby Petito in Grand Teton National Park

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, Wy. (CNN) - Authorities are focusing on Grand Teton National Park in the search for missing 22-year-old Gabby Petito.

National Park investigators, the FBI and local police are searching the park for any sign of her.

Of course, but it would still be a layer removed and, if BL may have already been thinking they had him as a POI/suspect, a paranoid mind might think it’d make the difference between a SWAT raid on their hotel room and leaving quietly on the 24th.

Exactly. This was their normal. Perhaps it was also normal for him to choke her during an argument, and it went too far this time. imo.

IF she has NOT spoken to him how can she speak of "her families" wishes for Gabby to come home & how they hope this is a miscommunication? Good grief! He has been home over 2 wks and we are supposed to believe that she can speak to this but hasn't spoken to him? If this were my sibling I would have been asking him questions from JUMP. Even if I was really busy with my kids, as soon as I knew that she was declared missing, time is made. This makes NO sense to me at all. My guess is that his parents aren't allowing her to see or speak to him so that she can't speak to it or incriminate herself. But she can still make it appears as if their family is doing something (aka really nothing)JMO

ETA: If this was typical of them - that alone speaks volumes to her disappearance and BL's and his families silence. JMO

The Federal Bureau of Investigations in Denver is joining the investigation into the disappearance of Gabby Petito.

FBI Denver said it is working with the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Police Department, the National Park Service, and other state and local law enforcement agencies across the country to search for Petito.
