To change the narrative...
and it's working lots of victim blaming on Twitter/FB right now, lots of women coming out and blaming her for her own death. It's ugly.
Even people disagree with your narrative.

i think the lawyer SB thinks that since he mentioned to fbi on monday night that brian did not come home from hike that exchange somehow makes it unnecessary for him to call the local police and inform them officially. it's like he thinks it's the fbi's responsibility to update the local police on brian not coming home. SB admits he did not talk the local police for several days. might be wrong but i thought missing person had to be done to local police by someone connected to the missing person.

IMO we've got to expect "Gabby's Murderer!! Guided tour of swamp, 2 trips daily see where killer Brian's jaw was found, $35 per person, 2 for $50". There's probably a concession for business within those reserves?

They did that with Natalee Holloway on Aruba, not with "her" as she was never located, and it was not proven that JVDS took her life, but "tours" of the places & beaches where she and Joran went......for all I know they are still doing that. IMO

that's sick.

Regarding SB interviews- anybody else catch how angry SB got when Ashleigh called out his inconsistencies- rolling over her statements with contempt, while he was able to word salad around Brian’s challenging questions without the same disrespect.

Misogyny much? The painful irony is - who better to defend a criminal accused of committing the ultimate misogynistic crime.

Gabby was engaging in a project that a future journalist might have undertaken in her early twenties. Maybe Gabby could have been the next generation Ashleigh. :(

I don't see Gabby as an Ashleigh Banfield. Ashley was already a news anchor in Canada in her 20's. She has always been very driven and focused. I think of Gabby as the free spirit her parents described who hadn't decided her path yet. She was finding herself. I suspect she'd have had several paths and a very rich life. Free spirits often do.

MOO.

With everything we knew before, SB's interviews and information lead me to believe Brian's parents knew Gabby was missing by the time it was announced. There is just no reason for them to lawyer up and keep quiet along with talking to the attorney before the 11th. I think he
According to SB he was retained w respect to this case on Sept 11. When they talked to him and how often they did before that date is anyone's guess. He said he was retained after LE was involved which was 11th of Sept (was there police activity at the house on 10th, I don't recall.) But Gabby was declared missing on the 11th and van was impounded on 11th at around 11:30 pm. He may have, as a friend, told them that they shouldn't respond to G"s family calls, but the calls started (from what we have been told) on the 10th. They may have been following friendly advice by not responding to the calls but it was not legal advice until he was retained at which point the calls ceased. jmo

I believe the Laundrie's attorney said he talked to them between the first and 10th, but couldn't reveal any info.

Surely that would've been a reasonable assumption on SB's part? I would think the same.

The American Bar Association’s Model Rules of Professional Conduct states that a lawyer “shall not knowingly make a false statement of material fact.” In other words, lawyers aren’t supposed to lie--and they can be disciplined or even disbarred for doing so. But notice, the key word here is “knowingly.” A lawyer cannot “knowingly” lie.

I think SB was giving B legal advice and not representing him as his attorney.
MO
And, it has to be material (MOO) a term leaving a lot of subjective wiggle room. But, the reality is that the media isn't going to file a bar complaint against him IMO. It's arguable that they'd even know what is material. And, it is not a crime to lie to the press as far as I know. The court, LE, Congress? Yes. The media? No. MOO

Sleepy Josh ;)

but also it's a standard politician or lawyers prefix ' not to my knowledge'
Altho tbf to JT, if these items are genuine, this one isn't his fault, he's only the PR guy

yes, but he’s not helping to make the NPPD look very competent IMO (unless it turns out that these things aren’t related which could be the case….)
