He says he woke up the morning Holly disappeared to the dog barking and went to check out what was causing it. He expected it to be normal.

She was told by Clint that Holly was arguing with her BF in the carport. "It's not her BF, shoot the guy" is an extreme response, and seems overly so (in a way that hints of something else in the mix, as if she had some expectation that Bad Guy X had been lurking for some reason) to me, because there are all sorts of explanations and people possible that wouldn't have been someone to shoot.

This may sound stupid to some people---- but mothers who have very pretty, stand out looking daughters, have extreme responses like that because they are so used to stalkers, and lurkers and people who become obsessed with them. They are always worried about their daughters being kidnapped or raped because of the way men look at them in public and things that happen over the years.

So once mom was called and told there was screaming, and she knew it was nOT Drew, she immediately knew her long time fears had come true. Someone had kidnapped her gorgeous baby girl.

Interesting that the mom taught one of the sp's in 4th grade and she went straight to one of the sp's house. I am sure we will hear more incidents of Holly being followed or stalked before the horrible event. RIP in Holly, justice is coming!
