Anyone knows why the purse was so tattered? I don't remember the details of where/how the purse turned up. I know the lunch box was found pretty soon after she went missing, right?

from what I understand,

Holly and mom see each other before mom goes to work, talk about BF going hunting on cousins property.

BF, whilst hunting is confronted by cousins family about why he is on private property, BF tells cousins(or extended family) that he is Holly's BF and that he has an open invite to hunt on the property. he calls Holly to let her know that he ran into her extended family, and informs her of the convo. I might be remembering incorrectly, but i believe Karen also had a convo with someone that morning about BF's hunting on private property. So to Karen and presumably Holly, Holly's BF was Confirmed to be hunting on some family property. Therefor Karen knew for certain in her mind, that the man Holly was seen with in her driveway that morning was NOT her BF. (sorry I cant remember everyones NAMES in the case yet without popping all over the place, so i just used BF for Boyfriend) im sure ill remmeber some day

Thanks SteveS. That has stuck in my craw for this whole entire time. I just came back from coffee hoping that would be addressed. How she knew so certainly that it wasn't Drew and someone had her. Mother's intuition? Superstition IMO.

I think she knew or heard something at the coon hunt and she was on alert since then.

KB had received the call from the neighbor about hearing screams coming from the Bobo home. Then she talked to her son who told her about the man in camo, who he thought was Holly's boyfriend, walking Holly into the woods. Sadly her panicked reaction turned out to be justified.

She was told by Clint that Holly was arguing with her BF in the carport. "It's not her BF, shoot the guy" is an extreme response, and seems overly so (in a way that hints of something else in the mix, as if she had some expectation that Bad Guy X had been lurking for some reason) to me, because there are all sorts of explanations and people possible that wouldn't have been someone to shoot.

The thing that I never understood, and it hit me again during Karen Bobo's testimony is Clint's failure to act. His mother is having hysterics on the phone, telling him to shoot someone. Why didn't he at least run out there and confront the person? Unless she is known for being the kind of person who over reacts to everything, I just don't get it.

Maybe the werido ex BF who they may or may not have gotten a RO taken out on was the immediate source of panic??

I question her jumping to "kidnapping" "they've taken her" as well.

Just because her daughter is talking to a man in camo and walking towards the woods with him, doesn't Scream KIDNAPPING To me...

I often wonder if the ploy that was used to get her into the woods was a convo about a Hunting Dog or something of that nature. "have you seen a coon hound go through your yard?" "No, Why?"

perhaps she was asked by her Abductor if she would mind if they searched behind the house in the woods for their hunting dog, or something like that? "Hey do you mind if i go out behind your yard there and go looking around a minute?" "No, why?"

something simple enough to get her to go walking towards the tree line with them....
