Listening to K Bobo testimony, there's something strange to it. It feels like there's a huge omission in her story that needs an explanation. Her actions STRONGLY imply that she was kinda expecting or on alert for something bad that day, in the way she almost instantly jumped from "normal life" to "shoot the guy" (on simply hearing Holly was arguing with some boy outside) and "my daughter's been kidnapped" when she called 911 for urgent help and it was fuzzy what had happened (and she wasn't even there). What had been going on in their recent past to make her take such a sudden leap? Had there been prior incidents about Holly? Threats on Holly or the family? Abductions in the area?

Totally agree. I've always felt that there's something missing in this story

KB had received the call from the neighbor about hearing screams coming from the Bobo home. Then she talked to her son who told her about the man in camo, who he thought was Holly's boyfriend, walking Holly into the woods. Sadly her panicked reaction turned out to be justified.

ETA: Karen knew it wasn't Drew with Holly because she knew Drew was hunting on her mother's property in Bath Springs.

Thanks SteveS. That has stuck in my craw for this whole entire time. I just came back from coffee hoping that would be addressed. How she knew so certainly that it wasn't Drew and someone had her. Mother's intuition? Superstition IMO.

I think she knew or heard something at the coon hunt and she was on alert since then.
