I'm having trouble understanding this scenario where Holly is kidnapped, injured and bloodied in her carport, then walked back into to the woods, and is still carrying her lunch bag, backpack, purse and other items. You'd think she would have dropped everything except for her phone.

Deaton said they searched for four and a half hours. "We located a metal object that was later identified as a revolver." #HollyBobo

[Didnt the defense make a big deal about them having a hard time finding the gun? .... 4 and a half hours is not that long for a dive search. ]

Very good point here. Yes, it made them question everything.

you don't lie about anything to LE or medical professionals.

The abductor may have grabbed it all or made her hold it. He might not have wanted it all to be left on the floor of the garage, to alert anyone to the kidnapping so quickly.

All those things were probably in her backpack, so it was just one thing. She may have had it on her back?

In most cases families are bashed for not calling the authorities sooner but now the Bobos are bashed for calling right away. There is simply no way to win for the Bobo family against the naysayers. By having so many there quickly looking for Holly it shows how many deeply care and love the Bobo family including Holly. I have seen many cases of missing people where the top state investigators arrived on the scene within a very short time to assist in the search. I see nothing sinister about everyone showing up to help in record time. I wish every case could have that many participating shortly after the disappearance of a loved one. It shows a community coming together quickly when needed. The TBI agents could have already been in the general area or in a town close by working on another case.

I truly wish reporters/naysayers wouldn't try to insinuate something is wrong implying the Bobo family is not telling the truth. Imo, it is like re-victimizing them all over again when they all have been through hell on earth by losing Holly the way they have. God be with them all. It has to be hurtful for them imo.

Sorry for the venting but I just had to get this off my chest. I think it is so unfair to the entire Bobo family.

IMO

Sorry, a bit OT:

This case reminds me of the Whitney Heichel case so much. Her family and church community sprung to action so quickly and planned searches that one of their private search parties found her vehicle before LE barely had time to get on the case. They also found other evidence while searching because of the way the coordinated and planned their searches; it was remarkable. Sadly, it didn't change the outcome for Whitney but it was apparent she was so loved.

Yes, I am so tired of people calling in to Channel 5 saying "I've always thought what Clint did was odd." It's one thing to say "this is what I would have done" it's another to actually do that. When things are happening fast and are confusing you have no idea what you would actually do. :cow:

Yes, its so easy to play Monday morning quarterback and for some strange reason some are just determined to put Clint down and seem to delight in re-victimizing him as much as they possible can. Its like pouring salt in an already gaping wound that will never heal for him anyway. He will never get over the guilt he feels for mistakenly thinking it was Drew with Holly. :(

It infuriates me and it also congers up so many distasteful memories when other family members of missing loved ones have been slammed and falsely accused 24/7, and it is mostly done by those who aren't even from the communities who really know nothing including the family members yet are the first ones to point their crooked fingers at family members when they were totally innocent.

It is very clear and painful who is the monster is here and it certainly isn't Clint and never has been.

One of the problems I've seen in cases is some people watch a few episodes of CSI or NCIS or one of those other shows and imagine themselves as expert secret agents of whatever LE agency they latch onto.

They think LE needs them to guide them, they think they are directing investigators' actions through the Interwebs, and they'll criticize how everyone handles a case from the victim to the victim's family, friends, LE, crime scene investigators and anyone else. They, in their infinite secret agent wisdom, know the only right way to investigate a case and can't stand that LE isn't conferring with them and letting them know what has been found and asking them what should be done next. They know exactly what a victim's friends and family should do and not do.

We've all seen this since the dawn of the Internet and crime shows.

And totally opposite of a current case I am following where there have been no searches and little media. One of the stranger cases I've followed here at WS as to not much media, (even after a month, just iirc one newspaper article, one tv broadcast... then little neighborhood and patch articles - and a family member VI on the thread) no organized searches in the media etc.

I think ZA would make her take everything she had. He sure wasnt going to leave any of it on the ground so someone could see them scattered about showing she dropped them while being kidnapped. He would have ample time to discard her possessions later and that is what he did imo
