It is so sad how the defense dehumanizes the victim, describing her as "that", the body, etc.

This was a beautiful young girl. This was Holly Bobo.

This. I am convinced they were all involved. Autry simply was smart enough to work himself out a deal first. Him doing so doesn't negate the players in this, IMO. Is everything he said entirely true? Most likely not, I believe he may have removed himself from some involvement of the crime where he probably was more involved, but ultimately, I don't feel it changes anything in the end. Adams and Autry are equally culpable. JMO

I really dislike how Ms. Thompson ends some of her points trailing off with "Soooo..." She's not effectively driving that point home and it reflects poorly on her. Also JMO.

The defense is counting on one or more being gullible and maybe paranoid about "the government." Some people get hung up on one thing and can't process more than a couple pieces of information and this defense attorney is trying to reach those people, hoping there's at least one on the jury who will get totally lost in the weeds.

Bottomline: HB was shot in her head. Four months before her remains are found Zach Adams is saying no problem about his arrest because "no body, no gun found."

No one else knew HB had been shot. No one but him and Autry.

i was at a park board meeting the other night and they talked about the rip rap like it was a common phrase....i then checked it out and found out...not unique to Tn.

Remember, this is not an appointed public defender. Mrs. Thompson was hired then Zach was declared indigent. This is what a good defense lawyer looks like.

Take away message is that if you get accused of a serious crime, make the best plea deal you can because justice is very one sided. The best defense lawyer <<<<<<<the State ADA.
