Turaj, I'm not sure if my comment about not giving a "last closing argument" was correct. I'm sorry if I've missed something here. (Nothing new for me!)

Can you clarify: Is the State giving a "last closing argument"?

Thank you!

I have a feeling he's going to get the death penalty.

They, the State, has NOT proven, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Zach, Dylan or Shayne or Jason kidnapped, raped or murdered Holly Bobo.

Jason Autry has plenty of time to contact all guys in the jails to fabricate a story of a confession from Zach.

The only person known to have stalked women, raped women, or assaulted women, is Terry Britt.

Zach did have domestic violence issues, but that's a far cry from kidnapping, raping and murder.

And there was and is not 1 shred of physical evidence that links Holly to any of those guys.

How could a juror vote guilty on any of the charges?

After watching this trial my question is how could a juror not vote guilty? I know I could and would given the opportunity.

I don't usually like closing arguments, so have been watching prior court dates. Currently watching when Adams, Adams and Autry were formally charged with their current charges. I was shocked when Zach spoke! I expected a manly, deep voice, but it's high pitched! Jason sounded about the same as he did in court during this trial. He had the same chill persona, and smiled and head nodded to whoever was in the court room. Just was interesting to me. Currently they are doing Dylan, first time I've seen him. Looks like all 3 had on different prison uniforms.

I can't reply in the closed thread and I didn't see a response, someone asked if Zach is found not guilty, will he be released immediately? Great question, anyone have the answer?

TIA

The thing is, there are people who testified about what Adams said to them who were not completely impeached, which means that their testimony wasn't really controverted. Unconverted evidence from a witness who the jury sees as credible is basically an established fact.
It's not the best case in the entire world, but then again, the standard is NOT "beyond all doubt." Is there really reasonable doubt here that Zach Adams was involved? I say no, and I haven't even watched the entire trial.

yes state goes first...then defense and state is last as they have burden of proof.

They talked about this on Channel 5 a day or so ago - said it depends on any other charges he has - but if found not guilty could probably bond out on any other charges and be released

i think this attorney Nichols is excellent...just the right tone...she closed the deal for me...any reasonable doubt will have to be set aside...this guy needs to be put away.

Why would ZA be commenting about a body and/or gun in the first place? If he has nothing to do with this crime then why is he commenting at all?

The jury will be the ones to decide what the evidence was and what weight to give it. They are the sole triers of truth.

Not an enviable task.

Sorry about that double post - I don't know what happened - only hit post once.

Why did Britt tell LE to go ahead and charge him for Holly's abduction? I must have missed this.

Well that's a scary thought!

This is why I always say not to over prep trial presentations. Some preparation is obviously required, but extemporaneous speaking will always allow you to better connect emotionally with the judge or jury. It's just better, IMO.
