Nichols is talking a bit about the deliberation process and explains about how to approach the forms...it is now personal for them and sending them on their way...boy after this I think she has a good chance of getting justice for Holly and if she does not ...no one could ever say she did not do an excellent job. I really like her.

wow....Thompson has to be worried about now

Can't see you, Emi!!

anyone else stunned that judge was going to let the alternates leave? I guess he cannot replace on in deliberation but if necessary they could start over...and also have sentencing (hopefully)...why let them go at this point? Glad that asst. clued him in.

This is why I always say not to over prep trial presentations. Some preparation is obviously required, but extemporaneous speaking will always allow you to better connect emotionally with the judge or jury. It's just better, IMO.
Oh, that is good info.

boy if i were on that jury i would not only not want my name out in cameraland but also not in the courtroom or in the general public at all....but usually it gets out after some time. Some really dangerous guys involved in this case with some really dangerous friends on the outside.

i bet anything we have many questions here...i missed the instructions this morning but bet they are long and confusing.

ADA Jennifer Nichols brought this case right back to the victim, what happened to her, when it happened, who she was, and all the circumstances around that.

There's more than enough to convict him, IMO, and if I were on the jury I'd have no problem finding him guilty of each and every charge.

He did it. He said he did it and he really did kidnap, rape and murder HB, along with his other cohorts that day. Of that I have no doubt whatsoever.

I think your name and address, personal information, is already out there when you are brought in the courtroom when they are considering you for the jury. At least the jury I was on, that was the case. Where you worked, if you were married, where you lived, etc. Correct me if I am wrong. Does it vary from state to state?

Wait, did the prosecutor really say 'if you believe the defense theory'? Because the burden is on the state, not the defense. I don't think she's allowed to say that!

WOW I thought JN was brilliant then. She actually made the jury picture holly as a real person and really visualize what holly went through. I thought it so true when she said, saying the word rape is not half as hard as actually thinking about what a person is subjected through( paraphrasing by me). She really moved me to tears thinking about Holly alone with them animals.

I respectfully disagree with that statement. Even if I think (not saying this is my POV) the State hasn't proved BRD, I don't think that Jason Autry is going around jails/prisons rehearsing a story with other inmates.

IMO

Well, he sure didn't call them. So, that assumes he was able to make friends with someone being transferred from his jail to the jails where those witnesses were and, without knowing them at all, offer them something that would induce them to tell the lie he wanted. I'm sorry, but I can't buy that.

I can't see anyone's tweets again. Will try to refreshing think.
