Anyone know how they get clarifications? For example, if some of their notes say the reported confession included "white van" and some say it was just "van", how is that clarified, since they cannot look at transcripts (which just seems strange to me).

Nothing is ever clear in this case. What does mean that the car looked like it was in a movie? How on earth does the defense have a photo of this car?

So the old statement of (paraphrased) of "we have DNA, it's just not what you think" must have referred to the hair that was family DNA.
