    GUILTY NC - PFC Kelli Bordeaux, 23, Fayetteville, 14 April 2012 - #2

The last time I saw someone with a similar demeanor it was a guy talking to a TV news reporter while walking around the back yard of his rural house. Months later the police brought in an excavator and broke up a concrete patio, then dug up a metal barrel containing the remains of a missing...

All of that is true enough Madeleine. Many of us had a painful lesson about expectations of progress following the Susan Powell case. In fact I got so frustrated with the lack of progress (or lack of an arrest) that I felt that I had to leave the Websleuths community, and haven't posted here...

I really think that you are placing too much importance on a confession by JP. It's got to the point that it's been posted that anyone who helped JP pack up his, his wife's and his two boys' things but didn't confront him on why he won't go to the police station, they are "enablers". He has a...

LOL that is pretty darn funny! Glad you have kept a sense of humor...After all there is really not much we can actually DO except pray that SP is found and justice is done. I am not going to be able to catch up with all the reading here, so have to just call it a night...

I can't explain the "Josh is suffering" comment from the dude just as I can't explain why Kiirsi posted to me on her blog that "it's not that I can't believe Josh killed Susan, it's just that I have my own reasons for believing he didn't." I really think that someone earlier really hit the...

(bbm) ummm.. care to share your source of information? or is this just baseless speculation?

I agree that JP's father should indeed encourage JP to tell him the truth. And who is to say he has not? We have no idea what he has said to him. All we have heard so far from Josh is that he has insisted he doesn't know where his wife disappeared to. How can a parent force one of their...

LOL...do I detect just a hint of bitterness there?

Even if all of those things are true, to me it seems obvious that the Coxes (the boys' maternal grandparents) will have much better opportunities to visit the boys with the boys up in WA versus stuck down in Utah - And if JP did go confess, the kids would be stuck down in UT with only JP's...

Well, here is the thing: Josh has told the WVC Police that he "doesn't know" what happened to Susan, and that he was "gone camping" the night she disappeared. Since then he has lawyered up and invoked his fifth amendment right to not incriminate himself. That's a constitutional right that a lot...

Thank you. I think what bothers me is when people make statements that are so emphatic that people no longer are interested in following due process. If I was to estimate how sure I was of JP's guilt, I would say probably 85% - 90%, somewhere in there. And I think that's rather extreme given...

You can do whatever you want. I would feel the same way if I were you. Since some here have been hypercritical of people helping JP put Utah behind him, I would assume that they would not even want to know what your observations are, so no I would not share those on the main thread. I know that...

Reminder - both sets of the boys grandparents live in Washington, right? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that. But grandparents are usually pretty good about giving love and support to their grandchildren. So from the boys' welfare and future happiness perspective, staying in Utah...

Kiki, it does seem odd, such as like someone mentioned previously, if she did just disappear and he had nothing to do with it, how would she be able to find him if she was able to escape and return - there's no concern from JP regarding that. On the other hand, he is moving right into the...

OKand3Js - I think that the chances are ziltch that JP or any of his relatives are hunkered down somewhere reading posts on the internet about the case by a bunch of people who are 100% convinced of his guilt. I honestly think that JP is just happy for each day he's still walking around a free man.
