How old was your niece, and how much alcohol had you given her at the time...?

I agree with you, but it could also be indicative of the standardised response of someone with a specific type of personality disorder. Ie a sociopath would lack of empathy or emotion in any situation.

JCB, I didn't say his defence of Bayley was bad. In actuality, the fact that Bayley got a 35 year minimum for Meagher's death (even though it was an open and shut case) and eventually got a rape overturned by Holt is very good defence.

Well, he better pick it up JCB. Totally forgot he defended Bayley.

While not perfect, I thought the Crown argument was better than I expected. Saul Holt's was bland, I expected more.

DNA was found on the telescope and rocks; there's mixed reports in the newspapers on whether or not both the telescope and the rocks had blood, or just the rocks. I remember reading the telescope was just hair in terms of DNA; however I could be wrong...

Elde, we don't know the context of the rock fight. They could've been throwing them at each other playfully. This is why I've said the audio file presents 50% of the story and is a flawed source for two reasons a) Tostee recorded the conversation knowing it was recorded and could thus phrase...

I'm getting a bit saddened by comments on forums insinuating that GT repeatedly asked WR to leave but she wouldn't go, stuck around and trashed his apartment etc. Audio does actually tell a different story. Shows numerous attempts to leave and GT trying to keep her there in some way...

Elde, I am actually quite interested in your legal insight.

I would also agree that the case so far is not strong. However, I also felt this about G B-C and was convinced he would not be convicted of murder, but convicted of manslaughter...look how that turned out.

Did you know her Elde Fruit? No sarcasm meant, just curious.

I would suggest as someone who constantly seeks attention and validation that there would be a part of him (particularly if he has any kind of narcissistic pathology) that would be enjoying the limelight/notoriety. That's purely JMO Interesting how he will act if he's cleared of charges.

BBM - at the start of the recording, Tostee clearly states to chill out and have a drink twice. She replies not to test her as she is psycho drunk. Next mention of drinking is at 1.32 am when he states he wants another drink. Then at 1.53am: Male asks if she got the photos he sent her...

Ah ok right. So the DNA sample is essentially...from her going to the toilet...? I had been previously wondering if the DNA sample comment was due to whatever action was happening around her vagina for it to hurt. And then wondering if there had been some kind of 'prop' involved...
