I was posting same time you were, so didn't realize second divorce was part of affadavit. Who knows. Everyone should read that part in the DA's affadavit about the undercover detective posing as a glass repair asst. -- great stuff! I guess this is what other posters meant when they said LE was...
Luthersmama, I think you are right -- the media just got mixed up in their haste to do report and "second divorce" refers to the one Ellen filed before. Good catch. There have been a bunch of other little mistakes too, like the fact they keep saying he called 911.
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. - January 8, 2007 - A University of Pennsylvania professor was charged Monday in the bludgeoning death of his estranged wife, who told friends she was preparing to divorce him.
Rafael Robb, 56, surrendered to authorities after being charged with first- and third-degree...
Thanks, scandi for the link. I'm glad to see it's Murder One. Agree that's strange about saying he has weapon when they don't have it yet. (Unless they do and are doing forensics on it.)

Just saw Channel 3 coverage. (They seem to be the only ones carrying the story right now.) Press conf is at 1 -- not sure if it will be carried live somewhere or just reported afterwards. Channel 3 did interview the atty who said Dr. Robb is preparing to turn himself in at 12:30. The atty...
Nifong refers to the prosecutor in the Duke lacross players rape case -- that's his last name. The Duke students were arrested very quickly and with no real evidence. Since then the most serious charges have been dropped and Nifong is in danger of losing his job. Believe it or not, Raffi's...
Another question for those who've been at this longer than I have -- I see all the coments about not rushing to arrest as in OJ case. What do you think can be gained here by waiting (in this case). Is there something the professor might do/say? What, other than DNA evidence coming back, might...
Thanks, Fran for that history. I think one of things that makes this thread so interesting is the fact that there are several of us (about 4 by my count) who actually know the victim and her husband. I haven't seen that in any other cases in this blog (but I haven't looked at all of them...
