GUILTY PA - Ellen Robb, 49, beaten to death, Montgomery County, 22 Dec 2006

  • #321
The arrest warrant will become a matter of public record. And seeing how Castor released the probable cause doc, it will be out soon.

Meanwhile, here is a link to KYW, a local all-news station with streaming audio so even those of us out of the area can tune in. Perhaps the presser will be live.

I wouldn't doubt if we haven't been 'visited' by POI in the past before they were arrested. I believe SP was watching a few of the crime blogs before he lost control of the situation and Amber appeared.

I also suspect that during the SP case, before trial, there was someone who I believe may have been a family member who posted here. They were eventually banned. LOL, they couldn't take the heat at times and would get..................testy. .......It was interesting, to say the least.

We also have another case similar to this one, Michelle Young out of NC who was bludgeoned to death in her home, (see her forum here on WS), and early on there were several posters over at the CTV board who it appeared were either the 'POI' or a 'friend,' trying to put out information to take the eye of the husband.

JMHO

There's another case on these boards where I believe the guilty party has posted and, I'm certain, still keeps an eye on things. His beak has been tied in a knot so he hasn't piped up in a long time. We're still waiting for his arrest on that one. :(

Hmmm. May I take a guess at the state in which the bird with the tangled beak lives? Could it be NC? :waitasec:

I stand corrected again, sorry, 1 p.m. press conference by Castor. I believe they said he is supposed to turn himself in at 12:30. Atty still claims his client's innocence.

I really feel for Olivia, Poor kid lost both her parents.:banghead:

Is reporting it. Says he's turning himself in this afternoon and that there will be more at noon.

Would locals pls monitor for us?

And btw, that article says he called 911.
Just saw Channel 3 coverage. (They seem to be the only ones carrying the story right now.) Press conf is at 1 -- not sure if it will be carried live somewhere or just reported afterwards. Channel 3 did interview the atty who said Dr. Robb is preparing to turn himself in at 12:30. The atty also said they would be preparing their defense "according to what the DA has in his warrant."

This guy will continue his innocent stance. Lie and deny. Unless they break him with evidence with which he can no longer 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 away. I think he'll hold his ground and act like the new victim. While's he being held I can only hope there's a plan in place for Olivia today. For the second time she's leaving school to come back to a mess. She was probably warned by her father something could (he would put it, unfairly) happen, just in case. She is in my prayers.

I found that very strange. Who has the local police's direct phone number lying around? If I came home and found my spouse dead my first reaction would be 911. I surely wouldn't pick up the phone book or call directory assistance for the police.

I think most of us would also drop everything we were holding as we first beheld the terrible scene in front of us run wailing with grief and peeing in our pants, as we would be too overcome to be able to recognize the urge. Actually I would cr*p my pants if I came home to such an event.

I do know the local police non-emergency number by heart as it is easy and residents are often urged to use it for non-emergencies. It really doesn’t have to be said that I would use 911 in such case I were Mr. Robb there clearly being an emergency!

You cannot find that number in the current phone book.

It is possible that somewhere in the house was one of the old stickers they used to give out prior to the 911 system being put in place. But 911 is so much easier...

Yes unless you had killed your spouse and already knew she had been dead for quite some time....no need for 911 then I guess eh??? :furious:

(sorry, o/t)
I should correct that...the murder occurred in NC. The bird no longer lives in that state.

My guess would be that perhaps they are giving Robb the opportunity to make arrangements for Olivia, and that's why they're expecting him to turn himself in, versus traumatizing her more. (?)

I'm listening to KYW on my computer, but they aren't covering it live yet (as of 1:05). They are still just carrying Brad Segal's story.
