Here is a thought. Could MM have been aware that some but not all of the Columbus area doctors that had criminal trials over the years were acquitted? I'm wondering if he arrogantly believed that he can get away with murder and that he would be acquitted in a jury trial.

The fact that he was using a false address and a fax machine phone number has me wondering if he also was being hounded by bill collectors and creditors.

He will be housed at the new Franklin County jail on the west side of Columbus. The old Franklin County Jail in Downtown Columbus was closed in 2023.

My guess is that he either get held under a high cash bail of more than a million dollars or be held without bond.

After looking at Section 2911.11 of the Ohio Revised Code which pertains to aggravated burglary, I believe this will be one of the aggravating factors for the aggravated murder premeditated charge that MM is currently facing.

It is possible that he could try to delay any trial in Ohio for as long as he possibly can by claiming that he is incompetent or that he is criminally insane. But it would be difficult for him to prove incompetency or insanity considering that all of his actions were premeditated.
