Can anyone tell me whether ET and AH paid for their own defense lawyers? Or are lawyers automatically assigned by the state? Just wondering.

Blatant comtempt, I agree. I feel like we've all been robbed. This is the moment we were waiting for and she's denied us that. She has also denied the victims by not being present for their impact statements. I cannot believe she is allowed to do this.

I do think that TH is guilty as sin. But I also think that ET was getting away with a lot of abuse behind his back. I don't think he knew the full extent of it because she would blame it on Arthur having "thrown himself around" and up walls etc. etc. (I still don't know what she means by that...

Agreed 100%. These social workers should be tried. The same thing happened at the trial of Gabriel Fernandez. Four social workers were tried for neglecting to do their jobs. They were all acquitted!!!

I also read that on a Facebook thread. But then, why was that neighbour not subpaenoed to testify? The time lines are a little unclear as well as it appears said neighbour had not lived in Cranmore Rd for some time. Can anyone give clarity?

She was off sick for 3 days after Hughes evidence. And she argued that the medical experts were wrong about Arthur's injuries. She can't handle the truth. She argues that black is white.
