Just jumping off your post here... I know I keep referring to my childhood friends house but the floor plans are SO very similar (there were only a handful of plans in that neighborhood)-- Their basement wasn't built as a bedroom just originally the utility room-consisting of the hot water...

You just described EXACTLY how I think this house is built... b/c it from the outside is the same floorplan as the house my best friend at the time lived in just a few streets over (1980's).

Your second image is pretty spot on to the design of the house if it is indeed the same floor plan as my friends house who lived in the neighborhood there when I did 30 plus years ago...

My 5 yr old whose hair is usually laid down will on occasion ask me to make his hair spike like a 'hawk but that's all it is, spikey. Usually very gelled up- its a faux hawk they call it... And in our house when it's long enough to FH I get his cut LOL
