Now that LE has recovered footage from NG nest cam, they are asking neighbors to look through their security cameras from several weeks back. Maybe because LE has more video they haven’t released of mask guy from a previous visit. Why would mask guy show up to NG house more than once? Well...

A thought came to me and I haven’t seen this idea discussed anywhere else. What if this whole thing did in fact start as a regular old random robbery/break in? Perhaps the guy knew an old lady lived there but nothing more. Then in the process, the bad guy learned about the “rich and famous”...

I noticed this too. In the pic with the backpack/gun, they look like light colored athletic shoes with black on the tread and toes. In the other pic, the shoes look light with a black collar. Looks like same guy, 2 different nights IMO

IMO, LE publicly clearing or not clearing people really doesn’t matter. They can say whatever they want. They can say “so and so is cleared” just to try and get that person to relax, let their guard down, and slip up in some way.

I go back and forth on a couple of theories because this case is so very unusual. It’s very hard for me to get past statistics and the “usual suspects.” A lot hinges on whether the ransom note writer is the same person who disappeared NG. I am also considering the overarching themes here and...

What are the chances this is a thrill crime? Someone put great effort into planning and pulling this off. Maybe they aren’t motivated by the money, they just want to see if they can do it. Seems like they’re having fun with the media hoopla and playing chess with the fbi.

The longer this goes on, the likelihood of it being random increases. The people closest to NG are being scrutinized sooo intensely. The best and brightest minds, the most current tech, huge manpower… it’s being devoted to this case. They will find the person responsible but it might take some...

I hear ya. This is one of the strangest missing person cases I have ever followed, for the reasons you mention. The parents mentioned they don’t want anyone else getting hurt searching in the interview they did.

Random thought I had and I haven’t seen this mentioned… I wonder if he has ever had sleep related issues before? I read that people on the autism spectrum often have sleep problems, such as sleep walking. It could explain leaving the house without shoes.

I lean heavily towards misadventure with this one. The proximity of where he went missing to Oso Bay can’t be ignored, IMO. I think he’s in that water.
