Looking at the island on Google maps, it is a very large and almost undeveloped island, maybe 20-30 miles long. There is a ranger station and a few campgrounds, but most of the island is undeveloped and likely only accessible by foot.
The "confidential information" is likely a tip or rumor that had not been investigated. If it were really important, this information would have been shared with the judge. IMHO.
I wonder if Naazir’s planned trip was actually something he wanted to do. He missed his flight twice. I think this information is key to understanding what happened.
In some ways, this case reminds me of the recent case where a women “missed her flight” and went to Mexico instead.
There are...
After reading the article, I still don't know much about the brothers. One was studying mechanical engineering and the other was studying aerospace engineering, but no mention of college for either one. The one brother who was flying out missed his first flight, but family raises concerns that...
I can think of a number of cases where a corpse was present in a house and no-one seemed to notice.
The story doesn’t make a lot of sense, but I suspect we have received an abridged version with lots of details left out.
Actually, looking at Google Maps, the Ashram is right next to the very large Paradise complex. They share a beach and there appears to be a road connecting the ashram to a large parking lot on the edge of the Paradise complex.
I agree these incidents are likely not related, but the proximity of...

I’m not sure how useful DNA would be in this case since it would be normal for DNA from SS and Maddie’s mom to be present (excluding semen of course). The defense could be trying to explain away some incriminating DNA at trial. Or may know/suspect that some other DNA is present that they could...
The headlines are a little misleading. The mother called for help 3 months ago, but never called again. Three generations were staying in the van, including 5 children.
The article also states that the van had issues and cut off in the middle of the night. I wonder if carbon monoxide played a...
I just got back from Nassau and there is a electronic billboard on a main road asking for tips.
I don't think this case is impaired by corruption. I suspect the police have no real clues. Someone at the Ashram should know something, but no-one seems to be talking. Unfortunately, the Atlantic...
This is one aspect of the case that really disturbs me.
Apparently Maddie's corpse was driven through the gate three times. What was SS doing? I can see removing a body from a crime scene, but why bring it back? and then leave again? This is extremely disordered thinking at best.
I can to some...
At the time of his original arrest, OJ was a very popular public figure, Successful athlete, Hertz commercials, movie appearances and so forth. Many people just couldn't bring themselves to believe that "The Juice" would commit such a crime.
For the Anthony trial, Casey was coiffed and dressed...
All judgments against AM at this time are primarily symbolic. If any money is received by the plaintiffs, it will simply be money taken from the potential receipts of other victims.
Both attackers spent time in Afghanistan. A lot of soldiers who spent time there, even in non-combat roles, were not the same when they came back.
There may be a connection between the two cases, but it looks like a tenuous connection at best.
This bombing seems to be a symbolic gesture that...
