I think it is interesting that in the article that "armchair sleuths" were making judgement on DB. They must know we are here.

Oh I bet several family members read up on us here...especially the 3rd year law student in the family. I wonder if they agree with us on certain aspects of this case???

Well for heaven's sake, Norest...go brush your hair and put on a little lipstick. We have company! :floorlaugh:

I'm wondering........WHY would LE tell JI that DB said the baby wasn't his? PERHAPS....DB admitted to it and now she has no choice but to say "OH Those Mean LE".......hhhmmmmmmmmmmm...................................

Of course, it would be improbable that LE would in any way try and break his loyalty to her. What possible benefit could there be in that?

Doesn't sound like they agree. Deb sounds like a saint in that article. They needed this spin-master of an article to try to spin things back DB's way.

And a statement from the interview:

"And for some reason, Sean seemed to feel uncomfortable around his little boy. He stopped visiting him. He still pays child support, Hazel says."

Not his? Recognized the child now looks like a friend? Did the new baby's dad decide the same thing?

I want to believe the parents were not involved in her disappearance, but find it difficult to do so.

I wonder where Lisa got her blonde hair?

LOL. Whew, trying to be slightly insulting to me, but I'm a big girl so I can ignore that. No, no top secret mission. I'm just stating that we have no idea WHAT Lisa's family is doing, nor do we really even know what LE is doing, unless they are searching, because the media covers that. We are not there, so you can't say they are doing NOTHING, because you don't know that.

actually we do know that they allowed ABC to trot cameras on their kids faces during trick or treating, . We know that they have refused to sit down with LE for separate interviews AND that they have refused to allow the children to be interviewed again. We also know that we haven't seen a single press conference in a very long time from the family personally asking for the safe return of thier child.

Family must be hoping that parading daddy out will suffice for the parents saying anything.

Maybe she didn't have her license with her....or just didn't have one. I'd like to know why she doesn't drive now. Prolly in the earlier threads and I missed it.

I agree, she had a rough life, but so did Billie Dunn...and I did feel bad for her. BUT, that does not excuse their on going life decisions regarding the rearing of their children. I believe DB has a substance abuse problem that controls her life much more than she'd like to admit, imo.
I'm sure she has abandonment issues as well with what we know of her families background. Along with the impairment of alcohol/anti-depressants, if it was an accident, she would cover it up in fear of LI's reaction, imo. Especially since Baby Lisa was the thread to the family unit.

The statement from Hazel saying she would get up, take the truck and go somewhere in the dead of night has my hackles up too. She apparently had a vehicle at her disposal the night BL went missing and after this report, I don't think not having a DL would be a deterrent in an "emergency".

I'm still not very far along in this thread to know what I'm talking about, however, I keep reading in different threads about DB not having a license and the question of can she drive being posed. Of course she probably "CAN" drive ie; meaning, she knows how to drive. As far as not having a license to drive, I assume some of you have looked to see if she has had a DUI and her license was taken or it could be as simple as, they could not afford their car insurance and let it lapse, therefore her license was suspended.

I don't know the MO laws, but here in Va., if we don't keep a motor vehicle insured, they will suspend our license unless we turn the tags into the Division of Motor Vehicles. I hate to admit, but the reason I know this is because, I was at a bad point in life a few years ago, could not afford my car insurance, DMV suspended my license becaue of it. I had to get SR22 Insurance and carry if for three years because of the suspension and I had to pay $500 to the DMV have my license reinstated. If the laws in MO are anywhere near like ours in Va. then it could be she has a suspended license for the above reason. Maybe one of the locals here can tell us how MO handles, insurance lapses. All I know is...it cost me a fortune to get my butt back on the road which is why I call my state, The Communist State of Virginia. instead of the Commonwealth State of Virginia. :floorlaugh: Truly though, we have some very very strict laws about everything. Our LE even have radar detector, detectors b/c they are illegal in Virginia. Just lots of laws due to being a Commonwealth.

Well, Hazel confirmed that DB can drive since she would "steal her car in the middle of the night when others were sleeping." Boy, that DB sure feels comfortable doing things in the middle of the night that most of us wouldn't consider doing...hmmmmm....

reading this article no wonder the family stopped talking to LE. Told her they had a body, they know she murdered Lisa, showed her burnt clothes. Told JI that DB confessed that Lisa wasn't his - ughhh - I would have lawyered up and stopped talking to.

Do you know for a fact that LE did these things? No!!!!! This is what DB and JI have stated, it doesn't mean it is the truth, but if DB and JI tell the media, public, family and friends this is why they are not talking to LE, then everyone will forgive them for not talking to LE. Apparently it has worked.

My husband and I are both brown people with brown hair and brown eyes, and we have a blue eyed child with light brown hair. Recessive genes are amazing.

We have this great thing called a paternity test. And in the case of her elder child, if she filed for child support, he is automatically entitled to one regardless of her wants.

I think they are just showing about the time that relationship began. It wasn't changed on her ID yet, but she gave it on the ticket which means she was there enough to give hat address out. They can't say when they married, right? I think they are just establishing alleged beginning of cohabitation.
And this is about the same time frame when I started noticing her around.

Since SB is legally married to DB, I don't believe he would be entitled to any tests. The child is automatically assumed to be his because the two of them are legally married.

This move struck me as VERY odd. Why after so long of remaining silent to LE and the media would you do this. What was the purpose of this...
was it to make DB and JI look like good parents
was it to tell us that the family has moved on with their daily life

I agree that the boys deserve a bit of normalacy in their lives and trick or treating is a huge event in kids lives...but why include the media, why not just sneak away, allow the kids to trick or treat and be done with it. After all this time they decide to appear on camera, not to make a plea, but to show us that they went trick or treating??????
They had a chance to include Lisa in this broadcast, but there was no mention of her.

And THIS is what makes me so angry with LE. I understand that they can try anything to get someone to confess, but as far as I'm concerned, Debbie would have broken right open if she was guilty of doing something to Lisa after THIS. I may end up eating crow, however I'm doubting it very much at this point.

Netz has stopped watching television in disgust. He’s not opening Facebook or reading emails, and he screens all calls.

He has angry words for the police, too.

He says officers called Debbie white trash in their interviews, told her to cut the innocence act, that it was obvious she’d killed Lisa. They said they’d found the body, showed her burnt clothes, he says.

“Then, they told Jeremy that Debbie had confessed to them that Lisa wasn’t his, even though she looks just like him! Eleven hours they talked with both Jeremy and Debbie, and when they asked for a break, the police announced they weren’t cooperating!”

The police deny those accusations. Legally, though, they can say anything they want in interviews and interrogations.
